Can you actually use this when you do use an iron? Will it do any more than just using the steam from the iron? thanks!

No, I would not use this product while using an iron--it is like a substitute for ironing. I don't know if it is any better that using the steam from an iron, but it keeps me from having to iron on most clothing items and is safer than ironing on some.

I must be doing something wrong. Does anyone know how to make this product work?

I spritz the (usually it's a blouse or top) and pull on the fabric up, down, left to right. Just leave it hang. Leave it, usually for hours then wa-la when I go back the top is wrinkle free. Sometimes I do have to do it a second time. I'm very pleased with the product. I do use the lavender scented one although I don't imagine that makes a difference. I'm also not sure if the fabric makes a difference but I use it mainly on cotton. Ocassionaly my gym tops which are combo material I'll use it on those and also have succcess. Good luck.
