"Juan Gabriel En el Palacio de Bellas Artes" from 1992--Even if don't know a word of Spanish, I think you're going to be impressed and moved by this performer with a great strong voice, a commanding stage presence, a flamboyant, assertive style, lyrical ingenuity, and a comic thrust who is able to get the audience under his thrall. He has a strong fan base, and they turned out for this love-fest. They love his music and react by singing along with the lyrics, swaying from side to side (an undulating, lively crowd), waving white handkerchiefs, and by getting into the act. It's participatory showmanship by a true artist.He is accompanied by a large, very involved symphony orchestra that really move to the music. A boy's choral group, a boy's band, and a passel of mariachis appear along with Juan Gabriel. He can motivate an audience the way performers could do in the older days with ballads and sheer talent.Gabriel loves what he is doing. He dances, cavorts, and flirts with his audience. He is turned on by the audience, feeds off them, figuratively cradles his fans in his arms and sings love songs to them.His only failing is he doesn't know when to stop and goes on a little too long. A good time is had by all. I believe you'll enjoy this DVD.

Excellent dvd, even though in old format, but entertainment wise it was excellent. The best of Juan Gabriel and all his music and performance. Beautiful way to remember him at his best.

Bought this video for my mom and me! I grew up listening and watching Juan Gabriel and of course my mom is and will forever be Juan Gabriel’s greatest fan!! The best part about the video was watching my moms face light up when I showed her the package!! Absolutely priceless!!!

I was so excited & anxious to get Juan Gabriel in concert. I, once upon a time took my mom to see him in person & this video brought back such wonderful memories of the day I spent with my mom. Juan Gabriel was the Best back in the days & I want to preserve the Juan Gabriel who I fell in love with. When I hear his music I see the man who was passionate word by word on every chorus sung by him. I felt he was singing to me & to all his fans & that is the Juan Gabriel who I want to remember not the 2013 version.I love this concert! Thank you for making it available to the publicxoxo

I have to start saying that Im not a teenager and Im not homophobic, (or gay). And I really enjoy this concert, the art has many different expressions and this guy gives to the voice, performance and orchestra music a very good level of art. It does look of course at the 90's style but its really a enjoyable performance. For all latinoamerican people its a must have, and for non Spanish talking people still it is a good thing to see and listen.

My favorite Juan Gabriel concert. I have watched this video over and over and over and I will never get tired of watching it. Juan Gabriel is at his prime and sings all my favorite songs like only he can. He is the ultimate showman! I love his black and gold jacket too, iconic!!!!
