This is a smart piece of kit, for the price. I've never owned an e bike before so didn't know what to expect. I am not disappointed! It's good to look at, light enough to lift (I'm 67) and a joy to ride! I've given it it's maiden voyage on the Isle of Arran and it's tackled every hill, with little or no effort. I'm surprised as to how well the battery lasted, only dropping one light, during my stay.Please note, it doesn't arrive with mud guards - I fitted my own.A great bike, for the price - I love it!💙😁

I have had this bike 2 years and use it daily for work, 8 miles each way up and down Oxfords country roads. I did swap the seat for a more padded one and would recommend this if you are using the bike raguly on bumpy roads. This has outlasted my previous more expensive electric bike and has coped with all sorts of weather, I have no worries taking this out in the wettest of weather. The battery locking system can feel a bit stiff to start with but just push your body weight down onto the lower end and it clicks in. I can use the bike on full power for 8 miles on the lightest of gears meaning no work at all if needed, I have not pushed it further like that but it gets me to work up some prity steep hills in 30 mins, I charge the bike at work and have not pushed the battery harder without gearing up and putting a little effort into things but i know I can do 16 miles no problem even as I am recovering from a broken hip. I have changed the battery since having the bike but that was more from me being abusive to the on off button than lack of charge and the supplier made great efforts and gave me a great deal over last new year on a new battery.

The bike came incredibly fast, a day before the earliest day of delivery in fact so that was a very nice surprise. The packaging is really good and everything inside was in great condition.There are no instructions on how to put the bike together (Front wheel, handlebars, front breaks & pedals needed to be assembled) so if you have never done any of this before, it may take you a little while to figure it out. Although most of it is very self explanatory the left pedal would not thread into the crank properly. It in fact had to be threaded backwards, contradicting the classic 'lefty loosely, righty tighty'.I did have / still having an issue with the front breaks not being tight enough, but with a little fiddling, I could sort this out.The design of the bike is really good. It's sturdy and well built and the paint job is really great.The battery fits in really nicely to the base of the bike and can be charged through a port on the side, so no need to take the battery out. I do however take the battery out, which locks in with a key and I charge it indoors.The motor and functioning of the battery assistance is quite good. You can chose from three settings, of assist, and it's always good to change gears and power assistance on the gradient of the journey. My trip to work is all downhill / flat ground and I can go 2 miles in around 10-13 mins so it's a great time saver. The trip home however is a little tougher as the power assist isn't great on steep hills, I have had to get off and walk or find a longer way home. It doesn't have a throttle so it'll only kick in when it needs to. I also think that when it registers that you are going a certain speed, it will actually slow the bike down.The seat isn't great, very uncomfortable so I will be looking to change it out for a more cushioned one.All in all, for the price it is extremely good value. You'll be very hard pressed to find anything close to this quality and price.

Useless. Actually slows you down. Hit I'm guessing 15mph ( it has no Speedo ), & it'll restrict you to that speed. The assist kicks in as soon as you peddle for a few secs until you hit again a guess 15mph, then wham. Like your trying to peddle up a steep hill or dragging something heavy. Which to me makes it completely useless. I want to peddle to as fast as I want without the assist. Then use the assist for hills or when tired. Not reach a slow speed in seconds then struggle. Pointless , useless bike. Also had to send back two as both had issues. Which was extremely inconvenient. I wouldn't recommend this at all. Stay way clear. I don't understand how's it's got any good reviews. Made from very cheap parts also.

Given this bike was sold in Walmart in the US for as low as 400 USD, we did not expect much. The bike exceed our admitted low expectations. It looks great, and works very well.Normally with bikes that comes in a box you expect to tune the gears your self to make it work properly and have to grease all the right places or it would not last long. But this one, the gears and brakes all work out of the box, and has grease in all the right places. Even the stem / brake levers / handlebars / saddle etc (ie all the places where manufacturers save money)Only compliant are:1) rear motor does not have disc mount (unlike what they mentioned in some you tube reviews) so not easy to upgrade to disk brakes at a later stage2) mounting points for rear rack in an odd place so a lot of racks will not fit3) The handlebar grip is very lose and moves about so I had to buy some new ones that clamp on.But these are minor issues. Overall the bike is excellent.

Arrived quickly after ordering, really easy to build too!!Bought as a surprise for my husband as he has never had a brand new bike at the age of 64. Really pleased with the appearance, battery life & value for money.Would recommend, only negates the saddle isn’t the most comfortable but this can be replaced if required!
