My black stone grill cover is just that, a cover. It didn’t attach to anything and there were no hinges for it. Consequently I always had to set the cover aside whenever I used the grill. So I purchased these lid support hinges. They worked out perfectly. Now I can open up the lid and lock it in place while using the grill

Used to hold windows open on my greenhouse during the day. Very well made and easy to close with one hand. Super easy instal with a couple screws on each end.

I needed to use these as a pair. One on each side of a chest. They are only made for one side only. They also measure as different lengths. Joints are very loose and center does not lock. These are terrible and I will return them.

Decent for the price. Made some adjustments so they were firmer in staying open.

I never knew the name of these hinges and it was very helpful to find them quickly on Amazon.

The lid supports were as expected but I could not use them for my box. The length of the supports were for a deep box, mine is 3 1/2 deep. I’ll eventually use them for other box lids.

I recently built 4 machinist toolboxes for my 3 sons and I. I used these for the top lid support. they give 2 left and 2 right hand. turned out great and they loved the gift.
