2018 Ford F150, Perfect fit and look good!
These were easy to switch out. I placed the old key into the new housing which fit perfect. I also used the rubber pad on the inside of the old key fob in the new housing which fit exact and I could tell was better quality (the part that presses against the circuit board when pressing the buttons). I only had to trim the little nub where the light is because it stuck out and prevented it from laying flat in the housing against the circuit board. The new fob doesn’t have a spot to display the light which is ok with me. The buttons work perfect and I don’t have to press hard like some buyers said. I think it’s because I used the OEM rubber on the inside instead of the one that came in the new housing. Perfect and thank you! Looks like a new set of keys.

Good product with a reasonable price.
If you’re like me and find it better to fix things rather than buy new, these are a great deal. Both of my truck keys broke over the six years that I’ve owned it. Specifically, the hinged carrier that holds the key blank cracked and one of the keys fell apart. These came quickly and are almost as good as the OEM housings. Slightly cheaper feeling but sufficient. If you plan to use your existing key blanks as I did, it will help to have a few tools. You will need a small punch, a vice and a hammer to remove the roll pin that holds the keys blanks in from both the old and new keys. On the new key, do yourself a favor and do not drive the roll pin all the way out. Only drive it out far enough to remove the uncut blank, insert your existing cut blank then use the vice to gently press the pin back in to secure your key. Reassembly of the spring loaded assembly is a bit futzy. With these the spring is not captured like the OEM keys. It takes some patience and persistence to seat the spring, wind it, hold it all together and then snap the clamshells in place. However, once you get the first, the second is much easier. Overall, these seem to be decent quality, they are fully functional and they’re reasonably easy to assemble. Four stars only because the spring mechanism is not captured like the OEM.

Works if your skilled with fixing tiny things.
Missing the LED remote start feedback hole. You can drill a tiny hole where its supposed to be, trim the little rubber stem off old key unit and stuff it in there...viola! It was like nerve surgery tho with 5/64th drill bit. Key flip mechanism different from OEM, so you'll need to punch out roll pin to swap keys or get recut. Be careful spring has one side that fits in a spring slot with twist to install and on other goes in the chrome press button.

Does Not Fit 2019 F150 Key
Did not fit at all for my 2019 F150. The key spring mechanism is completely different meaning you HAVE to get a new key cut

A great value!
I only needed the metal piece (including the release button and spring) into which the key blade is attached with a small diameter pin. I reused everything else from the original key fob. Pros: the price and the quality and fit of the parts supplied in the kit are excellent. Cons (and this is not a dig against the kit): if you reuse your original key blade you may have to file away some of the key blade metal to make it fit into the metal piece that holds the key blade (like I did). But if your original key blade and the metal piece that holds it are not damaged you can just transfer it from the old fob shell to the new fob shell. If you reuse your original key blade but also use the new metal piece that holds the key blade, getting the release button properly oriented into the piece that holds the key blade can be a bit tricky, because proper orientation is not obvious. You can do it, but you may have to try it several ways before getting it right. All in all I’m very happy I was able to get this kit at such a good price instead of having to pay a Ford dealer an exorbitant amount for a new key fob and the programming it needs.

Money well spent!
I bought this to replace the flip key fob for my 2019 F150. It was an almost exact replica of my factory fob. The only difference was the new one doesn’t have a spot for the LED visual, and the the back is all plastic (there isn’t a Ford logo on it). Changing the key and electronic board was very easy. It only took me about 5 minutes total to have it all put back together, even with having to wind the spring for the key. Tested the flip feature and my key was held tightly in place until I hit the button and it flipped out perfectly! Took it outside and all the buttons worked as they were supposed to as well. It’s a great aftermarket piece, and I can deal without the Ford logo and light. Especially since the Ford dealership wanted over $200 for their new key…I paid $10 for this one and I would do it again!!

Not an easy switch out
I bought these to replace the old keyfob on my 2015 f150. Where the key was held, broke off, so the thought was to get these and swap out the electronics and the key part. Not as easy as I thought it was going to be. The original uses a small star headed screw driver to get it apart. Which I couldn't find mine. I was able to get the screw out with a small jewelers screw driver. Once I had both the old and new ones apart, the spring flew out of the new one, I swapped the electronics, pushed out the rolled pin on both keys with a small nail and hammer, i had to file down the old key a little at the base to get it into the new fob, put the roll pin back in and then figure out how to get the spring back in and tensioned properly. The trick is in the indention on the push button and the keyfob. The buttons aren't as firm as the original but everything works. Not an easy job especially for those that are not technically inclined. The price is definitely worth the extra work. They look good and work as they should. The ease of swapping everything is the reason I gave 4 stars.
