HIVIZ PM1002 Competition Fiber Optic Sight

I used this kit to replace the stock silver bead on a Remington 870 Express with rib. This sight is MUCH easier for my old eyes to find and put on target. The kit has several bead sizes and colors that allow you to customize the sight for your needs. I was sure I wanted the green light tube with the large bead but after trying it, I settled on the orange light tube with a medium bead for better visibility during the hours when I use it. The kit comes with a light tube storage tube and plastic key to help change the light tubes as well as 5 screws that fit most shotguns, including my 870. Several reviewers complained about the single screw attachment point that allows sight to move BUT blue Loctite works wonders. A drop on the screw and three drops on the base have it stuck to the rib. Some reviewers complained of problems with light tube falling out. This model solves the problem with a clip and notch on the light tube. Overall, the sight worked much better than I imagined it would.

Its a little tricky to find and use the very small screws, especially for someone older. Using my very small magnatized screwdriver did the job. I like the size and brightness of the site and went with red this time for trap nights. Before attaching it, I put my very thin double backed tape where the screw wasn't. Very well attached and feel it will not come off. I also used the larger rod to start. Thos is a complete kit and worked for my caesar gurini. I've had other hiviz sites and liked them all. This one is my favorite.

Very pleased with this sight. Installed easily on my Beretta A300 Outlander with "removable" Loctite. This is a huge improvement over the stock sight. I'm 57 years old, my vision is not the greatest with gun sights. In daylight this sight is very bright and easy to see. My Trap scores improved dramatically after installing, when shooting in daylight and using the red sight. My scores went from low-mid teens to high teens low 20's immediately. My opinion, tremendous value, and impact on my shooting.

This sight is a good one for sure! Very easy to identify and allows me to keep good tracking with the sight and the clays! the only thing that you will definitely need is some Locktite (blue), as the screw used to attach the sight to the vent rib will back out, if you do not use it. Otherwise, this is nice sight w/ interchangeable fiber pipes and it fits very well against the shotgun vent rib.

I like the sight a lot and it's much easier to see the bead even while focusing on the clays. My only grip and a very minor one is I wish it was CNC'd and super high quality just for quality sake. It works perfectly and looks fine, I just noticed it could have been super trick which no one would notice except the owner and of course, the price would have been many times more expensive.

This is a great upgrade over a bead sight. Very easy install. I love fiber and bright sights. My Mossberg 940 JM PRO has a similar sight on it. But my new CZ 1012 waterfowl came with a white bead on it. I swapped the sight before I even put a shell in it.

I recently purchased this HiViz sight and it is awesome. The kit comes with several screws for installation. After removing the front bead sight from my gun, I used a pair of dial calipers to measure the thread diameter. I measured the supplied screws and selected the correct screw from the kit. Per other posts, I added a small anount of silicone culk to the bottom of the sight before installing. The sight has not moved and it is awesome. It is very easy to see and is a significant improvement over the stock polished bead. It is not bulky like ones that slip over the rail, so it looks stock. I am very happy with my purchase.

A Little expensive for something so small but very well made. Item was easy to install and comes with a whole bunch of mounting screws to fit most guns. That was excellent. Comes with a small carrying case with a slew of extra light tubes in case you want to switch colors or break a tube and need a spare. It comes with a solid white tube which was surprisingly effective as well. Solid purchase . I have no regrets.
