My pup loves cooling off on this mat. Living in Florida and crating her at night, one half of her crate is the cooling mat and then her own blanket in the back, and she just snoozes on the cooling mat and keeps her body temp where she wants it. I have 3 of these and each one is a winner.

My puppy is a cold weather loving dog. He loves to play in the snow and out in the cold so this helps keeping him cool in the house. I just got my puppy in the fall so I'm not sure how it does during the summer months but my puppy loves it so far. I put it on his doggy bed and he sleeps on it every night. I hope it will keep him cool during the summer months especially since I do not have air conditioning except a one room air conditioner. I'm giving it 4 stars for now since I can't really say how well it works or how well my puppy likes it during the hot summer months.

Golden in Arizona
Just received it today and my golden is already in love. I put it down just to see the size and if it works and he jumped on and will not let me take it. It does feel cool and is a good size for him. It feels durable so hopefully it lasts as he's currently 65lbs.

Mat is Cool to Touch, Large is Small
My golden retriever is still trying to decide if she likes it. Initially she didn't want to even step on it. We live in the Southwest so our house is laminent and a lot of tile. And it is difficult to keep the house cool. I purchased this not just to keep her cool, but to give her joints/bones some relief from the hard floors. It's not really thick enough to be the cushion that I want, but it is cool to the touch. The mat is kind of heavy and dirt sticks to it. The large is smaller than I thought it would be. Barely large enough for my girl (50 lbs).

This has been a lifesaver for my dog.Only complaint: the material inside can get bunched up and it's really hard to flatten/straighten it out again so he has something comfortable to lay on.It got a small hole in it after about a month of use (probably my cat), but I just put tape on it and it seems to be working just fine.
