Way more bang for your buck than is reasonable.
Excellent keyboard for the money. Removable keys, solid construction, and included tools all add amazing value to this amazing budget mechanical keyboard. The MX Blue equivalent switches are responsive and have an excellent feel and sound, and the three extra switches that are included come with a good quality metal removal tool that also works for keycaps. The keycaps themselves are excellent quality, even if the font is a bit over-the-top and gamer-ish. The back-lighting is good and has a variety of settings as well as good program-ability, though it was a strange choice to have every line of keys a different color. The only downsides I could mention are the wrist rest, while very functional and comfortable, does feel a bit cheap and the cable isn't braided, but these are hardly reasons not to buy. All in all an excellent value and an excellent entry level mechanical keyboard.

A good mechanical keyboard for the money
What arrives in the box is a "King 806K Mechanical Keyboard" with a key puller and a few replacement switches. My understanding is that the switches are plate mounted and are Outemo brand switches (with dust guard, see pictures). Outemo is a good switch, though I haven't seen them with the dust guard, which could limit the amount of keycaps that would be compatible with this keyboard. None the less, I'd consider this keyboard as more of an intro to mechanical keyboards and I think you'll like it. The keys are solid and satisfying to type on. The "King 806K" is not an RGB equipped keyboard--meaning the LED's that are soldered to the board under each keycap only show one color and the keyboard does not have the software to provide a "limitless" number of color combinations. However, there are some cool built-in lighting schemes and the colors of each row are not overly showy and are still really convenient for searching for keys or for hand placement in a dark room.I did find it strange that the product listing for this keyboard does not give it the name that it has on the user guide included in the packaging ("King 806K Mechanical Keyboard"), and the website listed on the manufacturing label on the back doesn't go anywhere as of today (24 Sept 2017). The markings clearly show that it is a Chinese brand, and with the lack of brand support you can't go look up a device driver online, which would be nice. The reason I knocked off a star from this great keyboard is because the media control keys: using the "FN+Function Key" combos as shown on the user guide don't work, so you won't have the direct, pre-programmed media control shortcuts on your keyboard which I got used to on my cheapo Microsoft keyboard. If there is a way to enable this feature or download software from online let me know. Thus, to summarize, this is a great keyboard for the money and something you can try out at relatively low expense if you are interested in mechanical keyboards but don't want to start with paying over $80 for one, or around $120 for a good one or over $200 for a custom one. If anyone can advise me as to where I can download software or firmware updates for this keyboard let me know, or if someone has a solution to the media function key problem.

poor reliablity, one key is already out after a few weeks.
2 weeks later, the "F" key already don't light up . No clear instructions how to turn it off/on or cycle the modes, only after asking the merchant here on Amazon. The cycle modes don't make sense either. Keyboard don't retain what you set it for, you have to turn the lights back on after every reboot. Avoid it, unless you need a cheep keyboard. But again there are better cheap keyboards out there although they aren't backlit. If you want something functional and more reliable with the same functions, get ready to shell out more cash.

Fantastic KB - worth the price OR You get what you paid for.
Bought this for work use. Fantastic KB for the price. Not sure how it would fare for gaming, but I doubt I would use it due to the blue switches and having an open mic while talking to my friends :)4/2/18Edit - changing review to two starsSome of the keys stopped working or you had to press very hard despite cleaning. threw the KB out of frustration and went with another mechanical KB for work. The other keyboard's LED has been flickering for in a wave-like motion for the past 8 months now.

Un poco desepcionado
El problema es que a veces se enciende el panel, a veces se apaga, a veces parpadea de forma continua, a veces se mantiene sin parpadear, por lo demas esta todo bien

Awesome value for the price
I've been wanting a mechanical keyboard for years, and had my eyes on the BlackWidow Chroma when I saw this one. I was a little hesitant because of the price, like it couldn't be that great for so cheap, but I was so happy to be proven wrong. The keys feel wonderful, the click is perfect (but loud if you're concerned about that kind of thing). I was impressed with the multicolored backlit keys, but unlike the chroma which has full spectrum for each key, this one has only one color per key and the colors don't change per key like the chroma, but despite that it has some nice effects like breathing, ripple (my favorite), wave, etc. Switching between modes is easy. The feel of the metal backplate is nice. Comes with a detachable wrist rest, but I don't typically use them so I don't have it attached on mine. Rest is hard plastic, not padded, so keep that in mind if you like that kind of thing. Haven't entirely tested out the water resistance, but it held up better than expected against a small water spill onto the number keys. Overall a good keyboard for the price, and lots of great features.
