Schwarzkopf LIVE Intense Colour, Long Lasting Permanent Brown Hair Dye, With Built-In Vibrancy Serum, Up To 100% Grey Coverage, Tempting Chocolate 880

Really pleased with this hair dye, the colour is a perfect shade for my natural colour. It was very gentle and I could detect that harsh ammonia smell I have got with another brand I used before. And the mixed solution felt gentle and clung to the hair with no dripping or mess. The coverage is very good I normally use 2 boxes of hair dye as my hair is below shoulder length and thick, but I was happily surprised that I only needed 1 box and it covered all areas well. The conditioner is lovely and left my hair silky soft and there was plenty in the sachet to do all of my hair with a good coating. I have a bit of grey on the top of my head only and it was coloured very well. The only strange experience was after mixing the creme was so thick it wouldn't come out of the applicator nozzle and had to blob it on to glove and apply it on to my hair in sections. Spoke to Henkle who make the product and they seemed to believe the solution was an old batch and had gone off! Considering I had just purchased the pack I found that suggestion strange.

As a, ahem, older ladeee, i've been dying my very dark hair for many years. I used to use a popular brand but found it no longer covered my grey, it seemed not to want to adhere any longer.I looked for another brand and found Live, loved the look of the shade and tried it out..it covered all my grey straight away, the colour lasts a long time, doesn’t fade quickly and leaves my hair soft and shiny. It's my new fav!

I never usually write reviews but had to for this. I used to always dye my hair with the Live Bitter Sweet Chocolate as the box colour was what I wanted. But never got. I had to endure a few weeks of basically black hair before it faded back. Tempting chocolate however gave me the exact colour I wanted straight after dying it, basically gives the colour of bitter sweet chocolate if you are dying over dark brown hair (which I have). So if that’s what you’re looking for and have dark hair already buy this one instead! Conditioner smells lovely, no drips and my hair feels soft after (not it’s usual softness but not dry either) and is super shiny.

I have long hair and normally buy 3 packs of colour, but with this one I was able to fully colour my hair with only 2 boxes

There is a little redness in the colour. Other than that, it is a nice product. After colouring, my hair is soft and has good coverage
