Our shaving oil can be used by itself but works best as a pre-shave with our natural shaving soap. It works by creating a protective layer of oil that relieves irritation by reducing friction contact between blade and skin and softening the hair. Our shaving oils are also very unique in that they contain Rhassoul and Kaolin Clay. These are loaded in beneficial minerals and assist with glide. Everyone is different, so we completely understand that while some people like a nice scent from their shaving oil, others do not. Bare Bones is an unscented product that hasn't been spiced up with essential oils. Although there are no added scents from the essential oils, Bare Bones does have a very light scent that comes from the natural oils.
