Great addition to my pantry
As a vegetarian, I was happy to find a vegetable broth available. It adds so much flavor to soup and more.

It's Delicious
Update: I bought this six days ago and I'm almost out. I just ordered another. One pound of this makes 25 delicious cups of broth. I drink broth daily and was looking for lower cost and low sodium. I'll mix it with chicken bouillon to make it last longer. I'll totally buy more of this.

10 mg sodium per 2 Tbs serving (add to 1 cup water). Good veg & umami taste
Ingredients: corn syrup solids, tomato, onion, garlic, yeast extract, carrot, basil, celery seed, parsley, spinach, turmeric, bay leaf. Serving size: 2 TBS Calories: 70 Fat: 0grams Cholesterol: 0mg SODIUM: 10 mg Total Carb 14 grams ---Fiber 1g ---Total sugars 3 g ---includes 2 grams ADDED Protein: 2grams calcium 20mg potassium 221 mg Directions: Add 2 TBS broth powder to 1 cup boiling water. Simmer 1-2 minutes and serve ------------------- Personally, I like it. I dont see a need for corn syrup as it contributes to the "added sugars". There is some naturally occurring sugar from the vegetables used. I think it has a very good taste-- vegetable with an umami taste (probably from yeast extract). Loads of green flecks from parsley, basil, spinach. I love that it is so low in sodium. I can drink it plain, or I can sprinkle a little of my Redmond Real Sea Salt to give it the salty flavor I want but still keep it low in comparison to other broths and bouillons. I acquired this early 12/2021, and it has a best by date of July 2023. I like Frontier products, and really have no issue with this. I dont rate on price, but I do comment at times. There are 25 (2 tbs) servings, and at current price of $12.87, that makes it $0.51 per serving. That is about same price as another brand I use. So I think within reason for my budget and values. What I do rate on is quality, my overall thoughts/experience, and how well the product matches up to the product description. So my 1 star deduction is really targeted toward the fact that the product listing does not include an easy to see ingredient list (it is there just look for it) and no nutritional panel for viewing. I took a big chance on this "LOW sodium" broth. But I wasnt sure what to expect. By labeling laws, anything labeled as "low sodium" cant have any more than 50 mg per serving. But how much a company considers a serving may change what is reasonable. Here, the 2 tbs serving size is meant to be used in 1 cup of water. That is reasonable. So I was willing to chance this, hoped it was following the labeling mandates, and used a reasonable serving. It totally fits that, since it is truly low sodium at just 10 mg (and is to be added into 1 cup of water). However, why not say this? It can only help them by helping others-- and is a very simple fix. Just type in the words, "10 mg per 2 tbs serving". Done.

It's Hard to Find a Salt-Free Veggie Broth Powder
For individuals who are watching their salt intake, vegetable bouillon and broth powders are a practical no-no. Bouillon powders, in general, are oozing in salt, and the reduced-sodium bouillons aren't much better. Even worse, finding any low-sodium veggie bouillon is impossible...save for this one. For my taste, this veggie bouillon is a tad sweet, but, then again, there is nearly zero sodium! The good news: you get to control exactly how much salt you add when using this broth powder to tame the sweetness of this bouillon, and I imagine that the sweetness comes from the pure dehydrated veggies used to create this bouillon. I add a touch more garlic and onion powder to amp up its savory flavor, and a touch of tomato to provide more body, but it's a great base from which to begin. Will be ordering more as I use up what I've purchased. Thank you!

Perfect for low sodium diets
I use this on a regular basis in place of all my broths because of the low sodium content and good flavor. Perfect for someone on a sodium restricted diet.

Best Low Sodium Plant Based Broth on the Market
Love this broth, bought 5 times. Do a lot of plant based cooking and this broth blends well in all aspects of my curries, legumes and sauces. Low sodium, stores well in a container with lid and lasts a long time. Well worth the purchase price.

A staple for every cupboard
This stuff makes a very tasty, low sodium broth. You can drink this straight instead of high salt bullion. I use it as a liquid intake while cleansing and dieting. It is not bland like liquid vegetable broth you get off the shelf and of course the powder does not spoil like a home made liquid broth would. You simply make as much as you need. The package contains 4 cups of powder and when water is added, the green herbs expand.
