DonJoy PerformanceBIONIC FULLSTOP ACL Knee Brace, Medium

This is great brace. It was less bulky than I thought; yet strong enough to keep my knee compressed and snug enough to keep my knee stabilized. This is one of DonJoy's top-of-the-line brace outside of a custom made brace but I wanted something that would make me feel secure and confident and not worry about re-injuring my ACL so I probably got more than I needed. So far it's felt great! My knee feels secure and well stabilized and I'm finding myself forgetting that I have it on. Its helping me feel more confident about making those lateral moves during sporting actitivities. Material looks very strong and durable. It's a bit pricy but I'd like to think I'm paying for the quality and protection it's advertising. So far...very satified.

I had ACL surgery at both knees and was looking for a good brace for skiing. After a pretty in-depth research, I decided to go with this one. I have used one brace on each knee for a few skiing sessions now. I can put it on without much difficulty. Once it's on, it stays in place, and I almost forget it's there, which is a good thing. I have almost full range of motion, with just a notch of limitation to prevent hyper-extension. In order for it to work though it needs to be tighten up pretty well on each strap, which may take a bit away from the comfort. The only caveat is that I did not fall or put myself in a situation where my leg tended to go seriously and dangerously in hyperextension, therefore I can't tell how well it works in these conditions. But it's good for peace of mind. :)

Was skeptical from all the reviews but I am so glad a took a chance and purchased this brace. Needed something to replace a brace received from urgent care. In rehab for ACL and meniscus injury for the last 3 months. Ortho was going to order a custom brace but recommend this instead for my immediate needs. Wow this brace does not disappoint. Love the compression feel and ithe way it hugs the knee for ultimate support. Feels way better than my other brace. It has a little bit of odor when you take out of box but it will go away. Looks great too. It is pricey but so worth it. Bionic knee brace for me to continue this journey of healing.

I wore the brace for about 4 hours the day I received it. Earlier reviews advised sizes ran small, so being a short person with slender legs, I ordered a size medium. On arrival, I slipped on brace, good fit. I wore the brace for about 5 hours the 1st day, seemed okay, stabilized my knee, but did notice some rubbing against inner knee bone. Put the brace on next day, rubbed terribly against my inner knee bone as the area was already irritated from use day before. Not enough padding between the very hard metal spline and my knee bone. I and a physical therapist both tried everything we could think of to add padding and adjusting the metal spline. Nothing worked. Unable to wear brace due to bad rubbing against inner knee bone. Waste of money.

A pretty expensive brace, but worth the money in my opinion. Important for sizing, pay attention to the measurements across the middle. If this is too small the hinge will be difficult to position comfortably on your knee. Size up if needed to get the middle measurement correct for your knee. The upper and lower measurements can be a little loose as the adjustable straps will make up for it.

Great brace, but for wrestlers plan to buy a new one every 4-5 months. Metal from brace cuts through cloth support at top/bottom.

I tore my ACL and tried 2 cheaper braces that didn't have enough support and still allowed my knee to pop out of place. This one holds my knee as securely as is possible while I do PT, in advance of surgery. It gives me the ability and confidence to move around and keep my muscles strong. I'm not sure if I'll be able to put it on right after surgery bc it is a sleeve, but once the swelling goes down enough, I'll be wearing this one. I had to size up to a M, even though I measured S. The small was much too tight and the medium is just right. I'm 5'8" 140.

The media could not be loaded. Los materiales son de buena calidad. Al principio obviamente se siente el peso pero después ya no. Y también por unos momentos se siente un incómoda por las bolitas que trae en los lados, pero a los pocos minutos te adaptas y ya no las sientes. Corrí perfectamente con ella por dos horas, sin problemas ni molestias. Y sentí mucha seguridad para mi rodilla
