Kill Abby White! Now!

The story of a confident, ambitious and sharp young female journalist woven around actualhistorical events from the 1920’s and World War II had me all excited and overwhelmedeven before I started reading the book. Female eccentric books or movies always make mefeel so empowered and proud even though this is just a fictional character. Nonetheless,the characters really enriched the story and brought life into the commonly boringhistorical facts.

Despite being a fast paced thriller and having a strong leading character, the story hada lot of loose ends and confusion in the chain of events that disheveled the progression.

Though I was not enamored with the writing style I did get caught up with the characters. Abby White and friends were a brave, if sometimes foolish, group. The historical realities were well woven into the story, so their fate was always in doubt.

A story conjured up from the ashes of WWII to create an enthralling spy and journalism drama is nothing but brilliant. The characters have been developed in such a manner that even though Abby white maintains her strong presence through the novel but the supporting characters add and facilitate her actions and existence to give her story energy and vigor
