I bought 4 units to update the one ones in my house. I found them easy to install and test. I put these inside our bedrooms instead of the hall, and my kids like to know that as long as there is a quick, green light that blinks every so often, that it's working. Our old alarms would go off every time we cooked dinner, and we ended up taking the batteries out. We hardly notice these new ones!One of the units was defective and I was please to get a quick response from the company. They sent a new one right away, and didn't need the defective unit sent back. I would definitely continue doing business with them.

This is a great buy . The alarm is loud so I could hear it through my home over 1500 sq ft. The lights are just the added feature to let you know the alarm is sounding off . Love this two in one product

When I push the test button it sounds fine and shows some numbers indicating everything is ok. I Hope this data is real. I don't see other method to try it and know if it is working fine.

Looks good, easy install, loud alarm. It does NOT detect or respond to cigarette smoke, so we don't know if it works or not. I'd give it 2-1/2 stars.
