Geek Battle Game: The Game of Extreme Geekdom Game – 1 September 2012

5/5 for fun gameplay!4/5 for quality of product!This is a fantastic fun geeky quiz game, once we've finished a game we tend to say okay let's have one more go! It comes with a little board which I actually didn't know (I thought it was just quiz card questions, I don't know why) which is really nice and does the job perfectly, the box the game comes in is also fantastic but the quality of the product drops a little bit with the cards, they are very very thin cards which was a little bit of a shame and I think they could easier be damaged but I'm hoping if they release a newer version in the future they will fix this. All that aside its a great fun game with a nice range of questions!!There are two types of cards, some with 4 categories and some are "geek battle" cards, these are the most fun and my favourite! I haven't really seen anything like the "geek battle" cards in other quiz style games so this just adds another layer and extra fun!

The title of this game attracted me to it but the low price made me caution. Steeling myself for disappointment I purchased it anyway and I'm so glad that I did. The questions are well thought out, spanning a variety of geeky topics. After opening this and playing a few times with some of my geeky friends we roped in some of our non-geeky friends who both enjoyed it and were surprised at the how well they did. It's such good fun that all too quickly the stack of questions included started looping around.My only problem is that I can't find any new question cards online so that I can keep playing...

I loved this game but it really does need an extension pack. It's fun, creative and well thought out but I want to play it more than five times(we've played three games so far and are through most of the cards)

We bought this for Christmas as an alternative to Trivial pursuits. Our visitors have always done too well at Trivial pursuits but were totally floored by Geek pursuits. We won and they were not happy.
