If you need these then you are stuck paying these extortionate prices. Yes they are high quality and even taste ok but cost more per Kg then coke !

Being intolerant of cacao, this is the next best thing when feeling like something 'chocolatey'. I'd just say that they are very sweet. I've just had my second bag delivered. I love adding them to all sorts of things. Granola, yoghurt deserts, sweet potato brownie mix (made with carob powder). Yum.

I love these but they are expensive used to be such a lovely cheap snack

I had read some reviews saying they really didn’t like these, so I wasn’t sure if I would. When they came today, I opened the packet and tried a few. Not bad at all! I have to cut out chocolate coz I have stomach ulcers, these are a great alternative. Would genuinely recommend these.

Packets delivered were already out of date when they arrived and product quality was poor. Given the very very high price on top I’d suggest avoiding for all manner of reasons…

If you have GERD and chocolate opens up the old sphincter, these are great. In choc chip buns you really can't tell the difference!

Taste great and wonderful chocolate substitute when you are allergic to chocolate, avoiding caffeine or just looking for healthier alternatives! My kids have been allergic to chocolate since birth and I can’t have caffeine so these are the perfect choice for our family. Delicious flavor, texture is amazing. No soy which is another allergy in our household. I haven’t tried to melt them yet and I don’t care about the calories honestly lol The price is comparable with other brands.

I'm in love with these! I can't have caffeine (so i can only have white chocolate) so i had to give up all things chocolate. Then i discovered carob powder and my life got a whole lot better. Now that i've found these, i can't stop thanking my lucky stars! My order arrived during cold weather so i didn't experience the melted clump other reviewers mentioned. I'll see what happens when our weather returns to the hellfire we're used to (Houston), because i will never stop ordering these! They are not overly sweet but they are sweet, as chocolate and "mockolate" (mock chocolate) chips should be, and the texture/mouthfeel is perfect!! I'm storing them in the fridge, though that's not a requirement, because i like how the cold makes them...firmer? Forgive me for not knowing the best word here. I like to store my cakes/cupcakes in the fridge because the consistency of the frosting becomes thicker, more fudge-like. That's not exactly what's happening with the chips, but i hope you get the idear (yes, idear). Maybe i like cold chips because it reminds me of eating cookie dough. I can't wait to make cookie dough now!! Some of it will actually become cookies...probably. I do think i'll freeze the chips before i bake with them. This isn't chocolate so i can't expect to to behave exactly the same and these mockolate chips seem to melt easier.

There’s not going to taste exactly like chocolate but it’s a great substitute if you’re unable to eat chocolate.

Since I can’t eat chocolate, I use carob chips in my baking of various items that call for chocolate chips. Excellent carob quality and bakes well.
