Got it Christmas 2024. Straight out the box, plugged in power and antenni and it was working immediately. No fuss just a great sound through FM, DAB, CD and Bluetooh. Today 6 months on DAB not working, could not figure it out, emailed company. Got a response in 5 mins with a set of fixes to try. Back up and running in no time. Nothing but praise from me. Great product, great value and great service.

I like the uncluttered look of this unit and with remote control no need to touch and leave finger marks.It was straight forward to set up,has a good tone and clear when on radio.Iwould have liked a bass control to apply if needed.For the price I think it is good value.Happy with my buy.

Was great at first. Cd player not working. Advised to go to maker they told me to go back to Amazon stuck in limbo with cd player that doesn’t work After returning the item as faulty decided to try another one as hopefully this fault is a one off. New one works fine at moment great sound. Fingers crossed

To my eyes, the ROXEL RCD 400 All In One Compact CD Player HI-FI System is a very smart looking device. I was looking for a music centre for the living room, something without pronounced buttons on the front/top and with a full function remote control. The RCD 400 is perfect for my needs. You can control it from the very discrete front buttons, but the remote control lets you perform every function from an armchair. There are two features I am most impressed with, the DAB radio and the sound quality. I have had a bit of love/hate relationship with DAB in my house. But I paired the radio with a third-party telescopic digital antenna, scanned the channels, and the radio picked up 42 stations quickly and all play perfectly. The sound quality is (to my ears) very good. The sound is bright and vocals can be heard very well, even at low volume, but there is definitely bass present, which is well controlled. The RCD walks a very good line, never sounding tinny or too bassy. As a background music system for a living room, I am very happy with it. I did crank it up for a few seconds, just to see what it could do, and it is more than powerful enough for the average sized living room. There are graphic equaliser pre-sets available, if you want to fine tune it to your situation. But fresh out of the box, the sound is spot on. Rather similar to my JBL FLIP 5 Bluetooth speaker, but with more power.

I bought this to rekindle my CD collection, have owned quality Hi Fi in the past but having downsized to an old cottage I wanted something that didn’t take a lot of space with speakers and wiring etc , set it up today and was so surprised by its sound quality from CDs and the DAB radio , very easy set up , scanned and found countless DAB stations , very impressed with the build quality and all round performance of it , thumbs up to Roxell for putting something together at this price point , remote a bonus and highly recommend this for the price .

I decided to return to CDs after many years and rebuild my collection. Was looking for a small, inexpensive but decent sounding CD player, not bothered about radio. I ordered 3, this being the cheapest. It looks good, works well and sounded ok, nothing special. I sent this one back, mostly because I was a little surprised and disappointed with its headroom....loud enough in medium sized room for "normal" listening, but not enough for me, as I like to immerse myself in my music when I get an empty house opportunity!

This is meant to be all singing and dancing. Sadly it looks like i got the runt of the litter that skipped the QC inspections. When it works it sounds great but it only worked when it felt like it. The remote control has so much lag it must be from 1940's. The buttons are so poor quality you can't tell if you pressed a button or not, except off then it does that ok after about a 5 second delay!! DAB worked well first time and auto scanned and saved 19 stations, switch to bluetooth and couldn't pair a device, back to DAB, nope, no stations saved all gone. FM scan, no stations just noise like static.. Switched to CD said reading disk without a disk being put it it, pressed eject on the unit and remote, nothing, doesn't work. Back to DAB, oh look no stations back to CD said reading disk.........................gave up. What an absolute piece of crap. I bought Roxel because they are meant to be a quality unit but sadly the QC inspector must have had a day off or smoking weed when this lump of crap rolled down the line. Never again will i buy Roxel. Ruined a birthday

Bought this to replace my old multi player and I can't tell the difference in the sound, it's great. Nice and compact too. Only tuned one radio station so far but I'll get round to that as it was ought fir the cd player. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Looks great but can’t use

Diese Stereoanlage macht grundsätzlich einen soliden Eindruck. Leider hat sie keinen Kopfhörer-Ausgang, warum ich sie zurückgesendet habe. Außerdem wird sie nur mit einem UK-Stromanschluss geliefert, so dass für Deutschland ein Adapter notwendig ist. Daher gibt es sicherlich bessere Lösungen.

Répond parfaitement à mes attentes. Toutefois il serait bien de préciser dans la description que cet appareil est livré avec une prise UK non compatible avec les prises européennes ce qui demande l'achat d'un adaptateur.

Beau design...Fait le job comme décrit. Bien sûr, on est limité au niveau son mais on le sait ! En revanche, bonne qualité à l'écoute. Fabrication anglaise alors merci aux cousins anglais de proposer cette alternative.
