Jameela Green Ruins Everything

If you like Bollywood movies, or dark comedy this book is perfect for you!!
This book looks like it would not work with that kinda storyline , but it weirdly does , and is so entertaning , made me laugh out loud so many times. I loved every single word written by the author , she made such a hard topic looks so easy and funny at the same time. And Ibhrahim , god i love him>>> and ofcourse we can't forget Jameela she is the hero the saviour . And yes i would have loved the alternative title Rise and fall of D.I.C.K😂(the name choice was good though!). If you like Bollywood movies, or dark comedy this book is perfect for you!!In short it was effortlessly beautiful and funny story.

Dark Humour Fans Assemble ✨
(Voluntarily reviewed a physical copy of the book on For The Love of Fictional Worlds)I don’t know what I was expecting going into this book; but what I actually got was darkly humorous and absurdly hilarious with such chaotic situations that I had no choice but to laugh out loud. In public. 🤣•Jameela Green is happily married to a man who converted to her faith; and a teenage daughter who volunteers at a local mosque in her free time; but she herself has lost her own faith when her brother was murdered.•She is angry, bitter and absolutely has no time for her own family, be it her husband/daughter or her own estranged parents. When the local Imam’s homeless houseguest goes missing; Jameela, in her belief that he has been kidnapped by the CIA to be tortured for information regarding an upcoming attack - goes on the offensive.Which means a whole lot of chaotic and absolutely absurd situations that Jameela faces when she undertakes the journey to go to Turkey. Alone. By herself.•Yes, its exactly as chaotic, as absurd and idiotic at times as it sounds. But this book does actually hit upon a whole lot of sensitive topics like Islamophobia, White supremacy, etc but hits on these topics using satire makes it for a buying commentary at ye state of current world and societal issues.•Definitely recommended for those who are fans of not only satire but also of dark comedy as a means of hitting on real world topics! ✨

illogical and childish
I appreciate any effort to share stories but this was wildly childish. It began well and descended into insanity. I could not finish.

Highly Recommend!
I loved this book! And the characters are wonderful to get to know. If these characters were to show up again, I would definitely read it, just like I will read any and all of this authors books! I don't do synopses, please read it yourself, it is so worth it! Intelligent, and timely for any year, decade or century. And it did make me laugh, out loud on occasion.
