Good service technician
Why did you pick this product vs others?:The SONY was damaged in shipment. They replaced it with a Panasonic. I couldn’t get it to work but the tech helped me over the phone and it is working fine. The company was very attentive and prompt. Very pleased with them

DVD side of unit did not last
I had a Go Video dual DVD/VCR unit that I purchased new where the DVD side failed. I bought this reconditioned Sony unit to replace the Go Video unit and the same thing happened - the DVD side of the Sony unit did not last long. It says “ loading” and then says “this disc cannot be played.”

Good used combo DVD/VHS player.
Nice unexpected accessories came with the package including a universal remote already tuned to player, conversion kit from standard av connectors to hdmi (didn’t get to work with tv), batteries etc. VHS & DVD players work fine. Had trouble with dvd tracking, May have been a poor quality disc. Appears to be in overall good condition, especially for a used reconditioned unit.

It looked brand new and they included equipment to give it the capability of connecting up to an HDMI port as well as other connections.

Worth the cost!
I'm very happy with this DVD/VHS Combo player. I was so happy to find one when my old one quit functioning. This arrived packed VERY professionally just as well as any new item. It plays both my dvds and vhs copies! It contained any needed connectors and I would highly recommend this to anyone considering it.

VHS player Will not eject tape. DVD works.
DVD worked fine and all setup connections were present, well packaged. and setup was simple.DVD works fineVHS will not eject and nothing in the Sony on line user manual is helpful nor are the WORTHLESS Y.T videos.Now I am having to return it with a valuable VHS tape jammed in it.If someone at Amazon or the vender will contact me with a remedy I will keep it.
