Pocket BVM with O2 Tubing by Micro BVM

I haven't had to actually use it yet (thankfully) but have practiced with dummys and it works great. The size is really amazing. Everyone was really surprised that it fits in the small container. Only downside is the price but I wouldn't have a BVM in my first aid kit without it being so small.It does seem like its really packed in tightly and when you close the container it seems like it could pop at any second but has held well so far.

It's a BVM that does 2 folds on the mouth side and 1 fold on the O2 reservoir side. Neat little unit. Think of the regular BVM you got then imagine the mouth piece side of the bag folding in twice instead of once so the whole bag is only like an inch and a half thick.Mouthpiece that comes with it is large adult but very squishy for an easy air tight seal. Any pocket CPR mask will plug and play too. So if you got a kid size one of those in your kit you can just plug and play that one if needed.When you go to pull this apart use your brain and go slow. Grab the bag itself around the hard plastic plates on the ends and pull it open slowly. Don't grab the O2 hose or the O2 bag or the mask valve fitting and try to yank it open because you'll tear something off. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast.When you go to fold it up the mouth side folds in twice, for the second fold I had to bend it down and work it around in a circle. O2 side folds in once. O2 hose goes in bottom of case. Bag sits on top of O2 hose. Mask sits on top of bag face side up and valve side down toward bag. Squish and twist to get the top back on.You shouldn't have more than a half inch gap to squish. If it's sitting way up high double check to make sure you folded the mouth side of the bag in on itself twice and the mask is sitting valve side down.Very cool!

Best bag valve mask (BVM) you could get, hope to never use it. Compact design and solid storage method.

You pay for the packaging. It's packed nice and small but opens up to be a decent BVM. If you have to conserve space it's a good choice. Otherwise look for something cheaper that can do the same job.

This is a great tool to have in a first aid kit. My one negative is that it is hard to hold back into its case.

I hope I never need it but it is an incredible alternative to having to put your mouth on a pocket mask. You’ll also be able to deliver slightly more oxygen to a patient even if you’re not connected to o2 vs using a pocket mask. I highly recommendEDIT: Back in Feb 2023 I ended up using it in a grocery store parking lot walking to my truck with groceries. Female OD - not breathing with no pulse. I originally started chest compressions before having a bystander take over so I could grab the BVM from my truck. I had it deployed in seconds and started bagging her. Nasal narcan was administered and after about 3 or 4 rounds of CPR she had a faint pulse but wasn’t breathing. I continued to breath for her for a couple of minutes before she began breathing on her own and was conscious and talking by the time she was being transported. I ordered another one the same night and currently have 3 in various places. (Truck, Home & Work bag) ..

I've used these both for training and actual use in a austere environment. I can pack two in my aid bag and don't have a single worry if they will be broken (the case is heavy duty plastic) while banging up against walls/trees etc.Highly recommend

I now have a few of these in various bags. The hard case stores easily and protects the BVM (including the mask) collapsed inside.
