Great introduction to opinion writing
I used this book to introduce opinion writing and my students loved it. They were able to find opinions, discuss as a class what opinions are and this helped them in their writing. Very kid relatable

Great mentor text!
This book is the perfect book to kick off the Lucy Calkins Opinion unit. It's adorable! I also like the simplicity of the book and that it can be quickly read over and over. Great mentor text!
