Excellent Sim - Suggested with a wheel
I’ve been a huge racing fan for years. GT7 is great, but for me, lacks a season/career mode piece. This game delivers. At first I was apprehensive because so many tracks are DLC. However, for $30 to start, you can add the DLC’s, and get laser scanned tracks that drive amazing and look great for the cost of most games.I view myself as an above average digital racer, but this thing drives very different than GT7 for example. Truly a great “game” that will test your entrance and exit of every corner if you get complacent. Wish I would have purchased this before I did.If your a casual racer and want something more to the arcade side if things I think GT7 (with assists on) will probably be more your speed. If you’re someone wanting more of a challenge pick this tile up.

Closest you’ll get to needing a helmet on console
Very impressed with the physics. It really is what Gran turismo claims to be. A “real” simulator. Some may find it annoying and hard to control. The developer goes to great lengths to nail every detail possible and if you enjoy driving a GT car around incredibly detailed real world courses from the comfort of your living room? Then look no further. Assetto Corsa’s developers are above and beyond. I have played it on controller as well as steering wheel and it’s far more fun on the latter. But still fun nonetheless!

a bit better that gt7, still nice to play
As for AC, I can definitely recommend it. In terms of graphics, thanks to the Unreal engine, it's a damn step forward, in a word, beautiful. Overall, the sounds have definitely moved forward and it's a treat for my ears. I can't complain about the premature approach in terms of optimization. Loading is fast. In a few seconds you are from the menu on the starting field and back. During the race, where I had 19 other riders (boots), I steadily ranged from 50 - 80 fps in FHD - epic settings.

Steering is not smooth. Steering is adjustable but never seemed to fix the problem.

GAME IS TOO HARD TO CUSTOMIZE
No matter what I do. I cannot get this game to work properly on the PS5. It is the jerkiest game when it comes to the logitech G 29 steering wheel. It’s hard to get tech-support to correct the issue. I am very good at electronics and nothing I’ve tried to resolve the issue.
