just what I needed

Jam-packed information. At times there is not enough detail on subjects as in psychological problems of addicted persons, brain activity or neurological problems and how psychologists help addicted individuals, how they guide addicted individuals towards sobriety,etc.

I needed this book for a Psych 110 class, and I knew I wasn't going to use it very much since the teacher doesn't teach from it. I rented it, it was to my University in one day, and it's in good condition for a used book. Amazon is clearly the place to go for textbooks, and this was a perfect example.

Shoddy condition, pages were falling out as I flipped through. There was minimal writing in book. I enjoyed the content in the book.

Needed it for my general psych. class at college. I believe there are better versions out there but for my class it worked out well.

This text is very well organized. The analogies and real world applications are helpful in understanding the content. Looking back sections are excellent reviews and summaries. Sample test questions provide great feedback for learning.

Written well; very easy to read and follow.

Was exactly as described. Arrived quickly.

A very thoughtful and illustrated approach to introduction of psychology, would recommend to anyone interested in the subject.
