Good product

I have hesitated to buy LED bulbs so far because I believe their price are highly inflated. The manufacturers say that they last upto 10 years, but note that they only give you 1 year of warranty - not 5 years, not even three or two years. So when Amazon offered deep discounts I decided the price was right to test it out. One of my friends who had earlier bought a few LED bulbs always complains that the 5 watt bulbs are too dim. So I decided to buy over 7 watts only. I bought a Philips 9.5w bulb (warm yellow) and two of this Wipro's 14 watts (cool white). I tested this out in a 11 x 11 room and it provided more than adequate lighting. Quite happy with it. (The 9.5 watts on the other is only suitable for rooms less than 10 x 10). If you have big rooms definitely go for 14+ watts only. I haven't faced any of the problems mentioned by other reviewers - like slow switching on speed or bulb going off after some time - so far. Will update with more info as I use it more.

Nice bulb if you need it go for it good deal The Wipro Led Bulbs are good but regarding replacement it is very difficult process. One has to call them many times for 1 week or 2 weeks or longer but finally they will give you the name of shop where you can replace your Wipro led bulb if it is within warranty time and you are in possession of receipt. Who will spend Rs. 200 like petrol expenses and 1 or 2 hours to visit the shop for replacement of a led bulb Remember cost of 1 bulb = Rs. 300 2 bulbs = Rs.599 Request to amazon please see that amazon collects the replacement bulb which is in warranty or guarantee period and handovers the new bulb to customer even if it takes 2 or 4 weeks it is ok.

This is the first time using Wipro bulbs, and I am disappointed. Out of 8 bulbs I ordered, one did not work, so I requested a replacement. When I got the replacement, it was rattling inside and didn't work either. The quality just doesn't seem to be very good, and there is a high fused rate in new bulbs. Plus the actual shape is much bigger than my other bulbs, so it doesn't fit in all of my light fixtures. So if you have a very small or narrow space for the round part of the bulb, these will not fit. Overall it was a big disappointment.

Excellent product from wipro.Thank you Amazon for sending me original products. This is the first time i am buying an led bulb.Till this purchase i don't know the brightness of an LED. I purchased a pack of two 14W for bed rooms and two 7W for bathrooms.but both are more brighter than i thought. For my bedroom of size 13*11 size i purchased 14 W wipro led , but it is far more brighter than i thought,after seeing the brightness now i came to know that a 9W LED is bright enough for bedrooms. 14 W is best and bright for big hall of size 18*14 other wise dont go for 14W. 7W is good for kitchen,dining rooms etc. For bathrooms 5W is good.
