A little tricky to put together but easy once figured out. Small fit for items. Money rolled up or a paper gift may be best.

Definitely customizable code, nice feature. Not solid at all. The pegs fit very loosely and allow for too much movement, side-to-side skew (see video). When opened, it will fall apart, unless pegs are made tighter, or glue used. The sloppiness of the entire object makes it difficult to open AND close. Pattern needs to be tweeked to tighten the unit.

My son and I put this together. The pieces have to be popped out of the wood to begin assembly and are very easy to break. We completed assembly, and it just doesn't work very well. The quality of the pieces is very low. Overall, it's a flimsy piece of junk that I regret purchasing.

Read all the reviews for tips. I will add this: the @2 and @3 pieces would constantly shift out of alignment. I finally placed a micro dab of super glue on the edge near the #2 and fitted #3 to it. let it dry, Do this for all the #2and #3 parts. Push the glued area off the edge of your table so it will not stick to the table. Continue with assembly order, ensuring all the teeny tiny "chads" have been removed. After each layer, I would check alignment by placing the long lock key into the alignment slot. When all pieces are assemble, grip the puzzle with both hands and apply opposite torque to break the super glue bonds.

KIND OF COMPLICATED TO PUT TOGETHER. BUT , I PUT MONEY IN IT AND GIFTED IT TO MY TEENAGE NIECE. SHE SAT FOR 2 HOURS TRYING TO OPEN. FUNNY

The concept was great however it takes a little while to assemble and you cannot switch the letters once the key is in which defeats the purpose of the lockbox. You should be able to mix the code so that it cannot open

Lo usé para esconder un mensaje pista para un regalo. Si tienes un básico de manualidades, resulta fácil de armar, pero te tirarás un rato largo porque tiene muchas piezas, eso sí, busca el vídeo en Youtube y te irá mucho mejor que las instrucciones que trae. Es cierto lo que dicen otras reseñas, cuando lo armas queda un poco flojo y aunque no se desarma, yo lo resolví pegando entre sí las piezas que no rotan. Con esto quedó perfecto y ya no se movía lateralmente. Las piezas de madera son de calidad aceptable y no son demasiado frágiles.
