Trusted the brand name and it was worth it
Bought this because I needed a CAC reader for home and personal use and it was so easy to get it to work with my branches websites. So far so good will update later on with the longevity and if any problems come.

Sadly this reader did not work for me. I believe it came defective, as no light ever came on when I plugged it into the USB port on my computer.

not working with my MacBook Pro but perhaps I need to try gain.
honestly I believe the product works, but it's not working on my MacBook Pro. I accidentally ordered 2 belkin smart cards. no one caught this and I was charged $33 each. at this point I'm keeping both smart cards because it's too much for m to go to up etc. I don't have a phone number for av. if I did this would help. in terms of delivery time it was excellent.
