Great opener but be sure you get the real deal
This is a great corkscrew but be sure you get the genuine Pulltap's one. It will cost you at least $30+ and is worth every penny and then some. There is another fake that has been offered out of China for $12 or so and while it looks a lot like the original at first glance, it is no substitute. If you look at the photo below you will see the two side by side and it shows the BIG difference. First and most obvious is that the genuine one is machined metal while the counterfeit is thin stamped steel. The real one is marked "original" and Pulltex on the lever and the other is not. The real deal has a solid metal handle rather than sheet metal with a plastic filler. The real one has a well formed teflon coated worm and the other does not. Perhaps most important for durability is that the real one has much heavier swaged pins for the worm and lever assembly pivots and they look like the ones on my much more expensive French handmade opener which has held up for a LOT of bottles. All in all the genuine Pulltaps is a great opener at a good price. Just be sure you don't go cheap and get the one that will fall apart after a few bottles. The cheap ones I bought will go in a picnic cooler or in the kitchen at work where they'll open a few bottles OK but I won't worry too much if they disappear.

Pricey but worth it
As the adage goes you get what you pay for. This is by far the best and easiest corkscrew I've ever used, the double hinge is a game changer and really makes pulling out the cork seamless. Also has a great weight to it and just fun to use.

My new favorite corkscrew
A non-stick coating on a corkscrew, what a concept! It's never been easier to get a screw into a cork before, or get it back out, and I can't believe I haven't had one before now like this. I've used waiter's corkscrews before, and always found them a bit lacking. They didn't get the cork all the way out, or they were annoying to screw in before pulling. Worse, I often struggled to get the cork back off once I'd managed to yank the cork out of the bottle, using more brute-force than leverage. This one has no such problems. It screws in like a breeze, and then in two very quick motions the cork is out. This corkscrew may be a bit on the expensive side, but it's worth it. I think it would make an excellent gift for a wine enthusiast in your life, or buy one for yourself if you open more than a few bottles a year. It looks nice and it works brilliantly, a combination that can't be beat.

Genuine product, best wine key I've used
I was fairly concerned about receiving a cheap counterfeit, as they seem to be all over Amazon. The product arrived in a cardboard box that was branded Pulltex. It was not as nice for a gift as the pictured packaging would be, but I got this for myself. I was happy to find the product appeared genuine. The Pulltex model direct from the company shows the "original" logo to be stamped next to the base hinge, but this one had it near the middle hinge.I've read complaints of counterfeit units having cheaply coated or painted worms. This worm was sharp, and went into corks silently and effortlessly, reinforcing that it's likely genuine. It was so much nicer than any cheap corkscrew. Cork pulled out effortlessly and without breakage.I would recommend this product.

This Corkscrew is the bomb!
Teflon coated screw mechanism slides right into the cork material. Two fulcrum points on the pulling lever mechanism so you can use one for the initial pull out and the other to pull the cork out straight the rest of the way. Single fulcrum lever mechanisms make it harder to catch the bottle edge for the initial pull and at the same time create too much angle on the later portion of the pull such that you are not pulling straight up on the cork and as such can sometimes break the cork. This is by far the best corkscrew I have ever used, and I have used a lot over the years.

Have to returned
Priced as an upscale item but it's not. Supposed to be new but had some scratches on it. Also, the small piece of metal did not bend to fully adjust to the bottle. I have returned the item. I will not recommend for $28. Maybe for $5.

Good quality but foil knife is crap
This opener is great but the foil cutting knife is total crap. I'm surprised that something so clearly well designed and made in other respects and used by professionals would have such a lousy knife. The screw and cork removal functions work great!

So much better than fancier gadgets
I love, love, love this thing. I have had multiple "fancy" bottle openers and used all sorts of designs - the rabbit, winged corkscrews, a two pronged corkscrew, a strange one that looks a bit like a lilly, and this one is by far the best. It's sturdy and won't break easily like some of the others. The corkscrew is smooth and slides in easily. The knife is convenient and easy to open. All of the joints are bendy and easy to open and close. You can use it on both corks and beer bottles. I know knockoffs are a concern with this item, but we got the real thing and we're very happy with it.
