SOONSUN Replacement Waterproof Housing Case for GoPro HD Hero and HD Hero 2 Camera Underwater Protective Dive Housing Case

I have the original GoPro case permanently mounted to my race car and wanted to have one permanently mounted to my race car. I bought this one as it's practically impossible to find a genuine GoPro case for the old HD Hero, but it's just as good the the original one.I have the optional screen on the back of my GoPro so the rear cover that come with the case doesn't work with my setup, but the thicker genuine cover snaps into this one perfectly.Very satisfied!!!

This product fits and works as advertised

We had the original Hero camera from GoPro mounted on my husband's dirt racecar. Someone wrecked him one night and knocked it off the car, breaking both the mount and the case. The camera survived intact. This case fit the camera perfectly. I purchased the option without the opening because we use it at a dirt track and don't want the dust getting into the camera. We're very happy with the purchase.

My old housings latches were broken. This fits my relic of GoPro's perfectly!

Fit my Hero 2 fine but when it went into some water, it leaked and the camera is now ruined. Very, very poor quality.

I used this as a way to protect the camera and better waterproofing ..You can see from the " wear" on the aluminum that this was used roughly.-- it never failed in waterproofing.And the lense remained clear after countless drops in sand..I originally purchased 2 because they were cheap.I've only used 1 and it did break, but no loss of camera or damage..Regular usage, you should be very happy.

I bought this to replace a housing for my GoPro Hero 2 silver camera. The lens cover on the old housing had got some slight scratches on it.This housing is as solid as the old one, same dimensions, the camera fitted inside perfectly, all the controls in the same place. It looks about as indestructible as my old housing. But I kept the old one anyway, if any part of the new one turns out to be flimsy - which doesn't look likely - I can simply remove the lens cover on the old one, and replace it with the lens cover from the new one instead. The screw types and location of the holes seem identical so there shouldn't be any problem doing that.

My old GoPro Hero 1 waterproof case was scratched up and this presented issues when using 1080P video.Saw the SOONSUN replacement case and read the reviews so purchased.Great price. My old Hero 1 fits perfectly. The on and video start buttons work perfectly and the mount works well in conjunction with other GoPro items I have.Really pleased with the purchase.
