Anti Monkey Butt with Calamine

We discovered Anti-Monkey Butt while at scout camp several years ago. It's a life saver! Good for shoes, undies, armpits, bras. . . anywhere sweat and chafing can be an issue.It's a great treatment for once you've begun to experience irritation and works instantly to relieve discomfort. No burning or tingling like other powders out there. . . no smell.Better plan is to use it as a preventative measure. My family sprinkles in socks, shoes, sandals, undies and bras ANYTIME we are outside (and potentially) sweating for an extended duration of time.Camping, backpacking, day trips. . . pack it and use it, then reuse it if you need to.Only con. . . super messy, if you're not careful.

Spouse wears heavy uniform pants every day. Hot sweaty pants for mandatory surprise overtime shifts means things get moist--and changing into fresh clothes is not an option. It is the reality of anyone in law enforcement, you don't get to choose your uniform. Soggy bottoms is a real problem in summer when temps are over 95 degrees--and yes guys do talk about this stuff! Heat rash is a big problem when it gets going, and ripped open angry skin makes for a long shift and miserable week.I went into research mode and found many rave reviews about this magic powder, so we tried it. Spouse is thrilled with the results and we go through this stuff pretty rapidly in the Summer. It is now in his work locker and Im sure we will be repurchasing when the temps rise again. It works super fast to prevent friction and manage sweat, there isnt anything more to say! It makes a miserable situation much more bearable!

Kept my nuts dry

I've been using Chassis powder for the past 6 months or so, and it works well and has a great, fresh scent. However, at $18 for 4oz, the price is utterly ridiculous. Due to the cost, I decided to give the Anti-Monkey Butt for Guys a try.The short of it is that it works just as well as the Chassis. I am not a huge fan of the powder being talc-based (Chassis is silica and corn starch) but it does the job. The negative attribute is the scent. I am not sure why the company thinks a guy would be fine with a powder that smells like a floral air freshener, but apparently they do. I do admit that the scent isn't overpowering and does tend to dissipate quickly. However, something a bit more fresh/clean would be welcomed.All that said, the price for performance can't be beat. $5 for 6oz of powder is definitely wallet friendly. Even though I am not a fan of the scent, I just can't go back to paying the exorbitant price for Chassis.

Understanding calamine has a pinkish tone, there are white or clear calamine products available over the counter - leaving us to wonder why not make this great powder even better? The powder does show on clothing, can stain when wet / on the floor, and is otherwise an unnecessary "mess". Very effective otherwise.
