Great for Its Designed Use
After reading all the reviews and then using the product myself, I think there has been some misunderstanding among the some users. This was conceived and designed as an egg replacement for use where the eggs are intended as a binder, such as in baked goods and meatballs. When used for its intended purpose this stuff is terrific. It works perfectly and doesn't impart any noticeable off flavors. You might want to consider adjusting butter or oil amounts, as this won't add a lot of the richness real eggs will, but I have not felt the need. However, if you try to use this as a direct egg substitute for eggs eaten on their own, such as scrambled eggs or omelettes, you will be sorely disappointed. It was never designed or intended for that use and won't work at all. When mixed as per the directions it forms a sticky (that's the whole point) greyish mess that nobody would want to eat by itself, but performs beautifully in breads, cakes, meatballs, or anywhere else the eggs are intended to hold stuff together.

Perfect for baking!
Bought when egg prices were crazy high and I had a lot of baking to do. These work really well in any baked good.

Quality product to use in baking when all the eggs have been recalled
Bob's Red Mill continues to impress. During the egg shortage, I bought this in case I couldn't get fresh eggs for baking. It has clear instructions. I didn't notice any changes in taste or texture. I didn't try to make scrambled eggs with it so I can't comment on that. I feel it aligns with most of the BRM products as being good quality, taste, & ease of use. You get what you pay for.

Good eggs.
4 stars simply because there's no real nutrition, needed to pair it with some plant based whey protein powder... magic... one part pancake/ one part egg in taste and texture. Good price... great price per allotment in these egg'srushating times with current egg prices.

Might be good for sealing inner tubes
This is not the powdered eggs I was expecting. This resembles tire slime. Rubberized truck bed liner, maybe? The glue they use for space shuttle heat tiles…. Would not buy again.

Not an egg or scrambled eggs substitute
Thought they were an egg substitute they're not... they are more for baking and replacing eggs in recipes

I struggled to make cakes with other egg alternatives, but Bobs Red Mill egg replacement is brilliant. Would recommend for anyone who can't eat eggs.

My daughter is allergic to egg whites and cannot eat cakes and other baked items without a severe reaction. This is an excellent replacement option for baking at home.
