This camera is excellent. I got another for my wife and two more for staff. It is very clear and easy to use. The zoom and pan feature is excellent. The remote does that, as well as lighting. Compared to other cameras, this camera does a much, much better job balancing light on the subject even before making any adjustments. The problem with the other cameras is that if the room is pretty dark but the monitors put out light... my head (clean shaven) would glare. With this camera that problem is gone, and I can adjust it even more if I want using zoom and the lighting control on the remote (the remote is much more convenient the a software config). My wife's room has a very bright background (window) yet, even without adjusting, her face on camera is well lit. Other cameras would darken the face trying to balance the light on her face with the background.

This is cute little camera is perfect for meetings. The zoom feature helps hide my messy desk. I was hoping that the light ring would help balance out the back light that comes from my office window, but it barely lights up. It has a warm and a cool setting but neither makes a difference. The light is on and set to maximum brightness in both images. The remote is convenient and easy to operate. I'm just sad about the light being useless if I'm not sitting in a room at night with the lights off.EDIT: The light not working is due to user error. (I'm the problem.) Please buy this light. It works great.

Initial impressions:PROS - Sturdy and well built. Sets up as advertised. Video quality is a step above my Logitech HD 1080p. Light ring works nicely.CONS - The zoom and pan features work as advertised, but their movement capabilities are short. In other words, if you keep the camera within a foot or so from the subject, then the zoom and pan features are perfect. If you intend to use the camera from three feet or farther away from the subject you won't realize any benefits. But overall I'm keeping the camera.

The media could not be loaded. My very expensive webcam that I purchased last year just quit working suddenly the other day. I purchased this one because it was within my current price range and came with an adjustable ring light and remote. These are important to me as my eyes are sensitive to light but my home office is rather dark. Therefore, light is essential but traditional ring lights often are too bright and harsh.This camera's light has plenty if settings first me to find one where I am not washed out and looking like a phantom and my eyes are not strained ten minutes into the first meeting of the day.I did have to contact support to find out how to town on the light. It seems I didn't try turning it on hard enough. It doesn't take much, but one of my hands is healing from surgery so it was awkward prior to mounting it.Their support team went above and beyond as I was not understanding what he was saying (I was overly tired and my dyslexia was kicking up a serious fit). However, Dong was very patient and was able to explain it to me easily even with my sleep deprived brain. LolI would highly recommend this camera for its clarity of picture, functionality, and ease of use (once I figured out my problwm lol). I would also recommend the company for their fast responsiveness, extreme patience, and knowledgeability.

I use this camera to stream arts and crafts. The quality is excellent and the framerate remains a solid 60 - the only limiter is my internet speed.The built in light is a great feature, and the privacy shutter works excellently. The only complaint I have is that it's a bit troublesome to get the auto-focus to... y'know, focus. Not enough of a complaint to knock it down a star. Excellent for the money.I do not use the microphone and thus will not comment on it.

WOW was this a FAST set up! Computer recognized it & set it up in seconds. SERIOUSLY. Very easy to adjust by reaching up & simply winding the round edge of it clockwise or counter clockwise to adjust your focus. Mic works just fine as well.Hope I never have to shop for another cam again - this fulfills my needs no doubt !

This purchase was my second purchase of this camera for a second computer. Great picture quality the halo light is very helpful during certain times of the day or in certain environments. It truly allows for the person on the other side to be able to see your face clearly. Great camera great price and I’d buy it again if I purchase another computer.

Bought it two years ago. It stopped working recently. Stuff happens. Contacted the manufacturer and they replaced it for free. Aside from just being nice, it means their webcams rarely break and they can afford free replacement after the end of warranty period.As for technical characteristics - autofocus works very smoothly, never seen myself blurry. Good depth of field. Didn't get much use of the ring light - the webcam is sensitive enough to work without it, basically the light from the working computer monitor is enough.
