I have bought these multiple times due to good price. They rarely tear. However, they are moderately see-through, and sometimes that's not a great look, or a privacy concern. I usually end up double-bagging and that makes them less of a bargain. The light scent is a plus and not overwhelming.

This makes my list as the IDEAL DONATION for a CAT RESCUE, Adoption based or with a small Shelter. If I were not struggling myself, I would adopt a cat rescue for a monthly subscription. Before finding this price, Amazon often has sales, and this .9 ml bag I purchased about a dozen other brands that appeared good deals but found I was doubling or tripling the bags. The only downside is, if the bag is very heavy the pull string in the top closing will break. I tie the top close. Rescues work hard don't make them work harder with broken bags or bags bigger than they can carry. Many of the Rescues and Sanctuaries have older persons running the facility.

These drawstring trash bags are superior to other brands we've used over the years. They are thicker, and the drawstrings are sturdy. Depending on what you need to use them for, above and beyond for general trash, the heavier-duty nature can be very helpful. We use them to store out of season bedding, for example. The bags are sufficiently thick that I have to write a label for them as I can't readily see through to see what's inside. They don't stretch out of shape or tear easily. I've been quite impressed with the quality and easy of use of these bags. When not used for general trash, I can re-use them a number of times. The unscented ones have no scent, as advertised.

Bag liner tends to stick together, almost as if glued. I think it's just the manufacturing process. The fresh scent is not all that fresh and not really needed.

These are a decent replacement for the now discontinued Costco 13 gallon bags. They're not as nice as the Costco ones are, a little less flexible, the draw string is a little flimisier, and overall a bit weaker. I live in an apartment with a dumpster and have a baby so we're taking out a nearly full bag every couple of days and no issues yet!
