HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Easy to assemble. There is a lot of room inside this fire pit. The package arrived damaged from Amazon. I know it didn't ship it like that. I seen the box had damage from Amazon's delivery picture before I even got it off the porch lol. The base bowl had a small crack in it. I sent them the pictures. And the same day I received it and found it damaged I already have a tracking number with FedEx. The replacement bowl is being shipped the same day I received it! They also did not request the damaged bowl back. That would have been a pain in the butt! Awesome (same day!) customer service and great deal.

My third purchase of this product
I have had two of these fireplaces before. They wore our but the last one probably lasted 20 years on the deck in Chicago without a cover (they finally offer one). Assembled it in a "lazy hour". Per others' comments, the screen really is a pain in the a**. It is a poor fit and I am not sure how long the flimsy door is going to last. BUT...it is a great firepit once you get a fire going. I guess the fact that I have bought 3 over the years says it all. People can sit all around it and enjoy the fire, it's great for s'mores, it's a fairly quick cleanup, it's light and it rolls around so you can actually take it to neighbors' homes or your block party (we have one mid-winter - yes, Chicago insanity). The metal does get hot so be careful when kids are around it. My guess is that the new cover will protect it well and I'll have another 20 years. Ordered a new cord of wood today. One caution: the wood grate lasts about 10 fires. You can replace it with a Weber grate that lasts much longer.

Perfect
Looks great & perfect size for a fire. I usually throw in a fire log or burn sticks I pick up around the yard. I can walk away comfortably knowing that everything is contained. I love that I can wheel it around too.

Works great for the $ But for this money these were not meant to last forever
Just remember you get what you pay for, this product was not meant to last forever that being said I got exactly what I was looking for at the time, something I could move around that didn’t cost a lot of money and it works just fine. If I get a couple years out of it I will be happy. If you want something that will last a lot longer you might want to think about spending quite a bit more money. I wasn’t disappointed because I knew what I was purchasing before I got it and when it wears out or breaks down I will just buy another

It’s ok enough….
This isn’t hard to assemble, the directions are a little kludgy, but it’s more tedious than anything. Generally, the quality is good, but where things start to fall apart is the screen. It’s already a little warped or bent at assembly, but even when I assembled it isn’t very sturdy. The problem is that the whole thing staying sturdy is based off the screen. It’s pretty difficult when taking the top off to get it back on and Elena all of the clips inside of the grill since the grill isn’t very stable. That being said for about $80 it isn’t bad and it works well for what it is and as expected. I don’t think it would stand up very well if it was used as a portable fire pit, such as for going between campsites, etc..

Absolute Chinese Junk
I'm sorry that I didn't read the one and two star ratings for this firepit. Their photo's and comments are all true. Two hours into assembly and I was already writing this review in my mind. I experienced frustration with tiny screws, nuts and washers that were difficult to piece the screens together with, an oval screen trying to fit into a round base, missing screws and washers, bolts that were not long enough for the screen mounting to the base, and having to drill holes in the metal legs where they were supposed to be but weren't. Unless you have a variety of tools to include a drill with metal drill bits, spare nuts and bolts, and a few hours to waste, don't but it. I have yet to use it, but I expect it to be a once or twice operation due to the cheap material and lack of quality. Of coursed you can't return it in it's original condition or box. Dissasembly would be almost a bad a putting it together and none of it would fit in the original box. What used to be a fine US made product has been reduced to a piece of outsourced Chinese junk. I will be returning the cover that I bought for it as it hasn't been opened and maybe I can get some money back.

Good for the money
I bought this after a couple purchases of lowe's fire pits that fell apart after a year.I had a neighbor who had a similar fire pit like this and liked it so i decided to give it a try. I like that this pit was higher off the ground which would help keep heat off my patio as well as having a solid lid to deflect heat out instead of it going up.This pit took me maybe an hour to put together and was easy assembly. The size is good for maybe 6 people to sit around comfortably to be warm. When putting the pit together, the screen will be a little out of shape but will bend into place when you bolt it onto the bottom bowl and the lid sits on top.My only complaint is the grate that comes with it is cheap and flimsy. It bent and rusted after one use. I might find a better grate for it. Other than that, I recommend.
