Scooter review
This scooter was horrible. It didn’t even power on and ruined my kids Christmas, Amazon didn’t even replace it. I was just told I could get a refund in 30 days. This was a nightmare.

Do not buy it from Amazon, they are selling open box items as New.
Worst experience ever, WAS OPEN BOX ITEM, NOT NEW. The scooter was not operable without repairs and even after that it was still limited and functioning as if there were something wrong with the front hub.

Doesn't seems like new
Doesn't seems like new..looks like slightly used and can't even put tire on front tire... tip is not popped up..and tire seems slightly used...Really disappointed!

Unit was used and abused.
The supposedly reconditioned unit came very dirty and scratched, tires worn and scuffed.

It's a total blast!
Ok, wow, this scooter is a total blast to ride! I've gone for lots of rides on it and love it! That said, this isn't a scooter for young kids, I'd say at least 12 or older depending on the child's abilities. 17 MPH on a scooter is seriously fast!Assembly was super quick and easy, just 4 screws to put in on the handlebars. I'm at the very top of the weight range and it works great for me. The tire pressure is extremely important on this scooter. The first time I took it out I rode about 3/4 of a mile and then got an E55 overheating error and it shutdown. I was super bummed! It did start working again after a bit to cool down but while it was cooling I got thinking about the tire pressure.Out of the box the tires didn't seem flat but did squish down a fair amount when I got on. The rolling resistance depends greatly on the amount of contact patch the tire has with the ground so I thought perhaps adding some air might help. Boy did it ever! The next ride I took it on I went from 12 MPH top speed to 17 MPH and didn't get any overheating errors. So make sure you inflate the tires appropriately for the weight of the rider. The included tire pump is a piece of trash that was very difficult to thread on. After fighting it for a few minutes I fired up my air compressor and easily inflated the tires.Range for me is about 7 miles, which I think is perfectly acceptable being that I'm at the top end of the weight rating and ride with the throttle pegged. So I'm not surprised at all that I'm not getting 18 miles out of it.This scooter has a higher weight rating but shorter range than Segway and is also a lot cheaper. I think this is just the right mix of features and price for most of us and highly recommend the Highlander Pro.

Nice ride
I'll start by saying that this is not my first electric scooter. This one is a smaller scale than the other that I have but this one pleasantly surprised me. The max speed on this is 18mph. The fastest I could get it to go was 16mph though. The max weight is 264lbs and my weight is 195lbs. I filled the air in the tires so I could get them up to the max PSI of 36 but had difficulty with the valve on the front tire. The valve was seated so deep that I could not get my pump that has a gauge on it. I ended up using a valve extender on the front tire to get it to exactly 36 PSI. The breaks are very good and the acceleration is pretty quick. The only thing that I wish were a little different is the handle bar length. It is 17" from end to end. I'm used to my other e-scooter that is 19.75" from end to end. For me, it just gives a little more control. But overall, this is a solid scooter.

Scratches / damaged product
Did not like that the $500 brand new item came with damages / small scratches.
