Great quality & value priced replacement for Thule locking hitch pins
This is a perfect fit for the Thule bicycle racks which use the anti-rattle hitch pin with an M12x1.75 thread. These are apparently earlier Thule racks, like the T2 and others, which use the Thule Snug Tite Hitch Lock and Anti-Rattle Device (Thule part # THSTL2) for locking, or Threaded Hitch Pin (Thule part # TH62RE) for standard. There could be others... but check the threads on your Thule rack, and the length needed for your hitch. For some reason I cannot fathom, MaxxHaul specifically avoids this information in its official descriptions, stating it is "only" for their for "MaxxHaul 50025 Bike Rack". I think they are missing out on a tremendous market potential, but what do I know? I know I saved $53 by finding this out. This MaxxHaul locking hitch pin is of nice quality, and for the price is a great alternative to the VERY expensive Thule pin, and even other slightly less expensive ($50) aftermarket replacements for it.

Works with Thule Parkway
I was skeptical to buy this because the reviews said it does not work with Thule. I have a Thule Parkway and this worked perfect! Im beyond excited that I found a cheaper alternative to the $70 Thule hitch pin.

Works well with Thule
Quite good quality and works as claimed. Contrary to what the description says, it works well with my Thule Vertex bike rack, and costs one-third of the original. Pretty happy…

Doesn't fit Saris or Swagman - details inside...
i'll come back to this after i've had a chance to install it, but i wanted to capture some details all in one place.the threads on this, as others and the description have said, are m12 with a 1.75mm pitch.this does not match these:Saris - appears by trial and error to be 1/2-13.Swagman - 1/2-12 British Standard WhitworthI have a Swagman XTC2 Tilt rack, so I was annoyed to find only the non-standard threading. I bought a Saris Hitch Tite kit (https://www.amazon.com/Saris-Hitch-Cycle-T-Rax-4-Inch/dp/B001AYOJ02/ref=sr_1_2?sr=8-2) and it slid right into the end of my XTC2 receiver bar, lining up perfectly with the pin hole on the receiver bar. Now I have two non-standard threads. So I bought a M12-1.75 square nut (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0CNRJ4TZW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8) (my Saris kit came with a square nut; obvsly, if yours comes with a hex nut, buy a hex nut) to replace the Saris 1/2-13 nut.Now I have two non-standard threads and a standard M12-1.75 thread that seems to fit this, Thule and a number of others.I wish we'd abandon the imperial system already... and while we're at it, stop making pennies.

Great replacement product!
Great product! Fits my Thule bike rack like a glove. Also has the cotter pin and lock cover that the original Thule pin doesn’t have. About 1/4 the cost of a new Thule pin. Would highly recommend.
