Exceeded expectations!
This little guitar is great. I've been playing for years and own several expensive guitars. I purchased this looking for something cheap that I could keep in my car and practice scales on during downtime as I travel frequently for work (didn't want to spend $100+ on a legitimate travel guitar from a music store). I was looking for something small/cheap that would somewhat stay in tune for the most part- i did anticipate some tuning issues since it's a cheap instrument. When it arrived I wasn't sure what to expect, however I was impressed with the quality/sound. Of course it's not the best, but it sounds similar to a ukulele which I find pleasant. It had trouble staying in tune at first when I played chords, but since I expected that I wasn't upset about it. I was happy it served its purpose as a convenient practice tool. After about 3 weeks it began to hold its tune. Some string instruments need a "breaking in" period and will become better at holding tune after you play it for a bit. I was not expecting that from this, so that was a GREAT surprise. Not sure if I got lucky or if they are all consistently manufactured. It is cheaply made, but for $30 I am not complaining. I would definitely recommend to other guitarists as a fun portable practice tool or to children or even adults looking to dabble but not sure if they want to commit yet. Just beware of the tuning issues, hopefully yours will settle in nicely like mine did. I thought about docking a star bc of this, but considering the price i believe it deserves 5. I love mine!

Excellent for the price!
Cute, sounds pretty good and very sturdy! My 2 y/o grandson is rough with it and it’s held up so well.

It's decent
Received this today and I'm pretty sure it will meet most of my 6 year old's expectations. It looks great, a beautiful color and design. Perfect size for a kid. I didn't give 5 stars because I can't figure out how to attach the strap. There is a piece at the bottom of the guitar, but no where else for it to attach. This was an important detail when my son was picking out a guitar with his amazon gift card he received for his birthday. How do we attach the strap???

Made me happy!
What i liked most, was my Grandsons smile and happiness when he opened this gift. It looks really nice. Don't think it could tuned with these strings. But, right now, He's strumming and smiling and I Love it!!

Just Right for 5yo wanting to learn
This is a perfect little guitar for my 5year old, who needed something more than a rinky-dink toy, but isn’t ready for a ‘real’ guitar until we seenif he’s truly interested. It’s a little hard to keep in tune but stays tuned long enough for a practice session and my husband can pick it up and play a song without any trouble. Sturdy, decent strings, and came with a carry bag, strap, pick, and access to an online lesson that we haven’t tried, since dad plays. I give it 5 stars for what it is. If you’re looking for something fancy this isn’t it, but if you want something fun this is a great buy!

It’s still just a toy
This guitar was a big disappointment for me. I can’t believe somebody mentioned in a comment that he takes it to the car for practicing.Practicing, really?I am an amateur musician myself, owning and playing acoustic and electric guitars. And I am telling you: this is NOT a musical instrument; this is no more than a nice toy.You want facts? It is almost impossible to complete a normal initial setup on this thing. Once you finish setting A and G - E and D become out of tune. Most trouble I had with the 3rd string, G. I was never able to tune it properly even with 2 different tuners. And when you are more or less done, what you get is a very dull sound on most nylon strings. Hey, this is guitar, after all - it is supposed to sound loud and pleasant, especially for the kid!I was hoping to start teaching playing guitar my soon to be 4 granddaughter. But on THIS? Impossible. This thing is not able to produce a music, but just a noise. However, even for a toy it is too expensive. For one-two year old baby you could buy a lot cheaper imitation of ukulele (see my picture) and save yourself from the trouble.Resume: do not believe to all the reviews in favor of this “junior guitar”.I don’t recommend buying it for the purpose of teaching kids playing guitar. For all other purposes it is OK.

Great Price for a Great Guitar
We thought it was going to be small, more like a toy, and cheap feeling/looking for the price - but it is solid and a really good size real guitar for a kid. Very happy with it.

Broke
Bridge popped off within a week of having it. Wasn't loose or anything but while trying to tune it, without the strings being excessively tight, the whole bridge popped out ripping the screws out. I now have to spend the money to buy a new [better] guitar for my 5 year old who will be learning to play this year. All I wanted was something for him to learn on and the ones that I purchased previously that were very similar for other kids in the house have lasted for years so I was unprepared for this one to be so cheaply made.
