Blue wings Scarf Beach Sarong. Pure Cotton Hand Painted Designer Wing Scarf

I wanted to love this shawl. The pattern is so beautiful and, as a gift for a recent widow, I thought the wings would be symbolic and comforting to her. Unfortunately,the fabric is extremely thin cotton, thinner even than an ordinary handkerchief, Because the shawl is so light, I feel like it wouldn't hang right if it was worn as a shawl as shown. The background color in the pictures is a brilliant white, but in real life the white looks dingy and dull, off-white After I received this, I re-read the product description and noticed this shawl is also available in silk and silk/cashmere blend. My guess is that the product photos were taken of the shawl in that fabric. Either way, they are misleading. To me, the scarf seems like something I could buy for 10 or $20 at a department store instead of something I ordered for $49.99. In all fairness, the seller promises to refund for the item, but since this is a gift, I had no time to get a replacement--unfortunately, this just wasn't the awesome present I hoped to give.

I love this. I have been wearing it for several days. The fabric is very soft cotton. The colors are crisp and bright, not dull or faded, in appearance. It adds a light layer for warming up in cool weather. My husband loves it, too. I would also feel comfortable wearing this to the beach as a sarong on a warm to hot day. I recommend this product.

Colors are bright and don't run when handwashed (always a plus). The fabric is soft to the touch, but not overly thin, as many shawls these days are--exactly the right quality and texture of fabric to make me quite happy. :)

I already have one of these scarves so I knew what to expect and I was happy with it. I've admired these scarves for a long time so when I saw the cotton ones were on sale I jumped at the chance to get another.

it was very pretty and light weight. bought it for my daughter's birthday and she seemed very pleased with her gift.

Absolutely gorgeous! Looks exactly like the picture and is very soft, comfortable and drapes exactly as you'd like it to.
