The dog wears it so that's something but it is a little short so doesn't quite cover her head. I also wish the underside was a little more protective. My dog still has to get rinsed when we come home. Overall, I would recommend this rain poncho.

This dog raincoat is So Adorable!!It is lightweight, easy to put on and vintage style cute little poncho but I can see it is durable and reliable.I am also happy with the breathable friendly fabric that keeps my furry friend’s skin unirritated.

Not easy to fit a mini doxie and this has belly band issues, as in too long. I'm editing this review because we've finally used it for a heavy rain and this is NOT waterproof. Water resistant but not water proof.
