Good stick protector
It's very frustrating to ruin a $2-300 hockey stick in the street or ice. Using an expensive ice stick on the street is the only choice. These blade protector is a must if you're in that boat. These protect the blade and prevent the blade from splitting from being ground down against the surface. You need to tape them down very secure but once they're on they're very secure. You may need to retape them after a few uses but it'll definitely protect your expensive composite sticks.

Best way to protect your stick
This is by far the best way to protect your stick when using it to practice off-ice. It stays on easily with a few strips of tape, and fits all types of sticks. The material is durable and can withstand lots of use.

Great cover for an expensive stick
Like so many people in this COVID environment, people are getting outside more and rollerblading. Especially those of us used to skating on ice... With so many rinks closed, I bought a pair of rollerblades, but wanted the fell of my Easton ice hockey stick and didnt want to buy one for the street. Asphalt and concrete will absolutely tear up the blade on your $200 stick. The blade wrap is perfect to protect your blade and still have the feeling of the street puck on your stick. I dont see wearing through this thing for a long time. You will have to reapply stick tape maybe every other time you play, as the surface you are playing on will quickly wear out the tape on the bottom. I looked at several other blade protectors, and this one seems to be the best.

Buy this.
For two summers I had been trying to replicate this product in all manor of diy attempts. Before I knew it was a product I tried several layers of tape, a layer of thin cardboard, a layer of thick cardboard, a layer of tin from a beer can, umm drywall repair grid tape stuff, ha I’m sure I tried other stuff too. Some things worked better than others, but nothing lasted more than 2-3 practices on the cement of our melted out rink. And if I wasn’t paying attention and burned past the protection layer, the stick would take noticeable damage. Once the blade cracks, total loss of power on high intensity shots and passes. And to catch a hard pass, you hear and feel how the stick now gives where it used to be responsive. This purchase lasted all summer. It didn’t have any noticeable affect on the way the stick contacted the puck, no change in how it felt to shoot, pass collect or dangle. Low weight, unnoticeable unless you’re actively trying to feel for it. Not like all the junk I tried taping to my stick in the past. This thing is so worth the money. The sticks they sell as street sticks or whatever just feel like toys compared to the ice composite sticks feeling like tools. Don’t use street sticks lol. Same price and worlds better equipment is safely usable instead. You could totally buy a second one and someone from your team will surly offer you more than you paid for it after day one of summer hockey lol.

Hockey parents know
They work. The price was right. I bought two because they don't last forever on concrete. Make great Stocking stuffers

Must have for street hockey
Definitely a must have product if your plan is to use your ice stick on the street makes playing on the street. Much more fun as you get to use your most likely better, Nice ice hockey stick on the streets without worrying about wearing it down. So far, I haven’t needed to buy another one of these yet but it’s a good price to pay to be able to protect your ice hockey stick on the streets. recommended for sure

Decent - durable, heavy, difficult on backhand.
Mixed thoughts on this. Taped the stick per their instructions. Front of the blade shoots ok - it affects the curve of my p92 blade by flattening it out ever so slightly, making it a little harder to elevate. Not a big deal, just shooting around in my garage, not critical to have pinpoint accuracy. But the backhand is another story. It's very difficult to shoot on the backhand with this, at least with the p92 curve. It rarely elevates properly; it doesn't have the nice sauce spin on the backhand; it more knuckles its way up. Maybe I'm just not used to it (or maybe I'm worse at backhands than I thought), but I was surprised how difficult it is to lift a backhand in the proper motion. The blade is also heavy. This shouldn't be a surprise since it's thick plastic, but I was caught off guard at the weight. I've only used it for about an hour or 2, so durability is hard to measure. So far it seems to hold up to various shots pretty well - snap, wrist, slap, backhand. It does seem to do its job of protecting the blade properly on all those shots. I'm a big guy so I really lean into it & put some mustard behind my shots, so in that regard, thumbs up. But be ready for it to throw off the balance of your stick - especially if you're using a high end/low weight stick. I'm using a cheaper street stick, so the weight is noticeable, but not as much as if it were on a $150+ stick. Adding a little weight to a 550 gram stick isn't nearly as obvious as adding it to a 415 gram stick. If you can deal with the weight & adjust to the new shot profile of your blade, then you'll probably really like this product. Otherwise, I'd say it's ok but not something I'd buy a second time.

Hockey Wraparound is the best!
This has saved my sanity during social distancing! I got one the beginning of lockdown and was able to pass the puck across the street with a hockey buddy and it kept us both from losing our minds. Several of our neighbors were super jealous because they were just busting up their sticks one the cement. You barely even notice the wrap around on your stick and it handles wonderfully.I just purchased one as a gift for my 68 year old stepfather who has played hockey his whole life. He is so happy to be able to play in the street and keep up with his skills and mental health while he awaits his return to the ice. Thanks, Hockey Wraparound!
