If it's a standard size mouth on the bottle, yes, they will fit. (the size of soda or beer bottles)

Q: does this work on soda bottles like Stewarts soda bottles

theoretically, it should, but I find caps too loose to provide any kind of seal

I don't drink beer so I don't know That said, I recycle different bottles, wine, Perrier, etc. Many have screw tops and the tops fit them. They are not as strong a fit as a real bottle cap and can come off if bumped hard. that said I tipped over a Perrier bottle today and the cap stayed on and nothing spilled. Sometimes I pick up the bottle and hit the cap from the edge of the cap and it will flip off. That means the bottles need to be stored upright, not lying down, which is how I store them. They are not intended for long term storage. I use them to store distilled water so that I have lots of back up water but Iuse 1-2 bottles a day, more if I have company and these work well for that.
