Hunza Organic Navy Beans (5 lbs)

I ordered this smaller 2 pound size because I wanted to try them out. What a great bean! I'm particularly happy with the way our Italian Bean Soup turned out. I used beans that were soaked overnight, cooked sausage, rosemary, onions and some chicken broth. Great product. I plan to order more.

Love Hunza beans. They r so clean and cook perfectly. I love my beans and peas and have purchased quite a few from Amazon. At the moment so appreciative.

made a HUGE Pot of slow cooker "baked" beans. They were amazing. Beans cooked perfectly - not smooshy. They remained much more firm than any store bought beans I've ever used pre-cooked or dry after cooking on low for 10-12 hours. This seems to be the standard with hunza legumes and I just don't know how they accomplish it.

It has been difficult to find a reasonably priced organic navy beans. I scooped these right up to add protein without meat to our paleo diet.

Its organic - which matters to me due to concerns over glyphosate exposure.

I bought two, 2 pound bags of these beans because they were organic. I used them to make senate bean soup. The first bag ( lot#010-25-19258-US) was excellent, very white in color and very few bad beans in bag. Today i opened the second bag…(lot# 010-25-US-18678)..they were terrible…..light brown in color, and seemed like half the bag was dry rotten beans, i salvaged maybe 1 pound from the 2 pound bag. Went to website and no where was email or any way to contact Hunza. The first bag was excellent, but i give only one star all around…..no excuse for selling such crap as is second bag. I wont be buying Hunza again!!!
