I'm really pleased with these buffers. They work really well, and the price can't be beat. I did notice that one of the edges on one of the surfaces is lifted up a bit, but it doesn't impede my ability to use it. These obviously won't last forever, but they get the job done (the surface of my nails looks like glass), and you get six for this price, so I'm impressed. I'm guessing that I can use each one at least 4-6 times (possibly more) before it will be played out. I'll order these again.

I have heavy nails. Using this for shaping and refining my guitar picking nails. First I get the shape close with a heavy duty board, so I don’t wear out this one so fast.Following the graded surfaces I am able to get a very smooth edge.

I've bought these several times. Well made, inexpensive, comprehensive 6 part nail buffers. I highly recommend them.

For years I've had one of these multi-sided buffers. It's time to replace my old one, so I was happy buy these. This order arrived very quickly. That's the only good part. The sanding surfaces are all coarser than my original, but perhaps that's how new ones are made now. What I find very disappointing is that every surface of all these boards is crumpled and uneven, leading me to believe these are rejects or seconds sold as first quality. They appear to have been crushed from the factory. While marginally usable, I would not buy these again.

I started using these sander/buffers years ago when a girl at a mall kiosk did one of my nails for free just to show me how it worked - trying to get a sale. I was amazed at how my nail looked like it had GLOSS on it, but all she was was use a sander/buffer similar to this - so I bought one. I had that thing for YEARS.. till it finally started falling apart. Well I bought a whole PACK of these (6)... I was like - "WOW, I'M SET FOR THE NEXT 10YRS NOW!!" 😁👍 Then I used one on a toenail that I dropped a 24" steel pipe on years ago 😫 and am still reconditioning back to health. I sanded on it one day just to smooth it out and it worked well. But when I looked at the pad - all the grit was rubbed OFF... DOWN TO THE WHITE BASE UNDER IT... Just that fast! Then I understood why there's 6 IN HERE - Because if you use them regularly, you will wear them all out probably within a year. I don't know if there's a more durable brand, but now you know what these are about. Fortunately they aren't expensive and you DO get 6... so I'd probably still buy them again if I couldn't find anything better.

Very nice cure for the after-gel-manicure nail. I'm one of those ladies who pick off the polish because I can't help myself. I just did my right hand compared to my left and the results are awesome. I don't have to wait for the regrowth when I can just sand down the peeling parts. The shine is an added bonus for me!You have to be somewhat careful and pay at least a little attention to what you're doing, but it should not be too hard to keep snags from occurring (like I have seen in more negative reviews). My first file is holding up just fine.

Use these for my nails. Have hard thick fingernails, so I need multiple graded surfaces to get a good finish after I clip. These files have surfaces numbered 1-7, but if you use them in order, you'll wreck your nails because they seem to be printed randomly out of order. Feeling with my fingers, some of the surfaces are the same, and many of them seem to be lacking the correct grit coating to do the job right. There's plenty to choose from, and you can get a good finish if you check each surface in turn before you use it.So, ultimately it's usable, but quality control of the product has fallen short. I had to make an additional purchase of a different product later to get a file with rough enough grit to do the first two steps. Don't have high expectations if you buy this (but the price is right for a bunch of them).
