I ordered a XL and had to return it for a Large because it was too big. I'm 5'9 and 185 lbs and normally wear an XL so I can put some layers underneath. The large fits very well but it is a little shorter than I'm used to and can't wear that many layers underneath but for how Im going to use the jacket it works. I wore it in a torrential rain storm and stayed completely dry. I got this jacket to replace another North Face jacket I had for over twenty years after the zipper finally gave out.

While the quality and craftsmanship are undoubtedly impressive, I was extremely disappointed with the fit. The coat lacked any adjustability, making it impossible to achieve a flattering silhouette. It felt bulky and unflattering, especially around the waist and shoulders.If you prioritize style over fit, this coat might still be worth considering.

Great style, nice loose fit, keeps dry, packs into hood for travel, well made and good price.

Excellent light weight jacket. It is a lightweight jacket, but keeps you warm and dry.
