Ashley Hardcover Blank Book

Mine came in perfect condition (spine, cover, pages) and everything is bright, pristine, matte white. The covers are impressively stiff. All of the pages are medium thick paper. Not as thick as cardstock. They're flexible but not flimsy and they stand up on their own pretty well with the book open. The whole book material(s) is/are extremely high quality. Moving on—it has such thick pages it gives almost an illusion than there are more pages than there are and the dimentions are a generous size (these are all great things). The pages also take well to different inks. There hasn't been any bleeding between pages and there isn't transparcy I've noticed between pages. This is such an excellent medium for writing, bullet journaling, drawing and storytelling. Even as a sticker book. If the list price holds at $5.88 I'm happy to buy more when I need them. It's a really fair price.

These are great! I only got 2 because I was not sure of the quality of the paper or what the cover was made of. I draw, mostly just graphite but I want to get into a little pen & ink with watercolor. I also do some drawing with my 7 year old granddaughter and I thought these would be a great thing for her so I will be ordering more now that I know what they are like. The paper is good quality, it is smooth but does have some tooth so it would take graphite, colored pencil, Crayon, marker, pen & ink, watercolor if you are doing some drybrush or very light washes that don't cover the full page. I say the last part only because if you saturate the page, the book will not look right when it closes. The cover is a matte cover so it would accept the same as the interior. The book reminds me of the little golden book series that has been around forever for children except those books are whiney. I was also concerned with the way it would arrive. Those of you that draw understand that all of those little indentations that would not affect the quality of a book that you planned on reading could spell disaster on paper you plan on drawing on. They were perfect. Packaged in a padded envelope, so it could have been a mess but they were flawless. I plan on buying more of these, for myself and my granddaughter. I never said much about that use for it, I think children of any age would love to create their own book, how cool would that be?

Good little blank book for kids to use to be creative. Arrived quickly and in perfect condition. If you only want one, I'd go with this but if you need more there are better deals to be had.

It is what it says - a blank book. The binding is solid and it looks solid. Son used one to write a story with illustrations and another as an "art diary." He's happy with both.

I made this my sticker book! It is amazing quality compared to others I've bought from Walmart and Target. This would be good for classroom book making (pre-school to 5th grade) because it's blank, but a small book with not too many pages. It has just enough to make a short story with pictures. You can write with watercolours in this with little bleeding (it's not watercolour paper thickness, but it can work.) You can put stickers in it like I did, too. Just be sure to plan out where you want to put them because (obviously) they will rip off a layer of the paper and leave a significant mark. This book is amazing and I put waterproof stickers in here (I use waterproof because of the quality of the stickers.)

My 8 year old grandson love these books as he is writing “sequels” and doing the illustrations! Wonderful item to encourage his creativity and developing a love for writing!

Good size for many purposes. Papers inside are nice and thick and cover is smooth and sturdy.

The cover is very smooth/ soft to the touch which I was pleasantly surprised about! Pages are thick! Used for a guest book and it is perfect! Very sturdy!

I love these - they are perfect for the project I bought them to do, EXCEPT that they are a bit slimmer in terms of number of pages than I'd like.
