ESP32-S3-DevKitC-1-N32R8V Development Board

It would be perfect if it had USB C instead of the micro B's.

This is a good development board. Maxed out flash and RAM. You must use the ESP-IDF development platform to use it. The Arduino world is not really ready for this board yet. The VSCode is a great platform, but it takes a couple of days to figure out how to use the ESP-IDF with it. The ESP-IDF integration with VSCode is a little wonky. Once you learn how to use it though development is fine. Also pay attention to the TTL voltage. ESP32-S3 is not 5V. 5V regulator pin only produces 4.2V. The 3.3V regulator pins are exactly 3.3V. If you need 3.3V and 5V connections TTL level is easily overcome with a bidirectional voltage level shifter, and those are cheap.

There is a lot of hardware on the chip itself that is not implemented in the IDE as of April 2022.This is a pre-release not a finished product.

- Le pido a espressif que publique mas informacion acerca de los proyectos para esta placa.-Si estas empezando no te lo recomiendo.- La placa que recibi trae el ESP32-S3-WROOM-2, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) and Bluetooth® 5 (LE) module, Built around ESP32-S3R8V SoC, Xtensa® dual-core 32-bit LX7 microprocessor, Flash up to 32 MB (Octal), 8 MB PSRAM (Octal), 33 GPIOs, rich set of peripherals, On-board PCB antenna (en la fotografia viene el esp32-s3-wroom -1 que trae flash16MB supongo que eso es bueno para mi).- Solo pude hacerlo funcionar con el ESPRESSIF-IDE.- No funciono con Arduino-IDE.- Tampoco funciono con Microphyton (utilice Thonny para cargar el firmware de Micropython especial para esp32s3).- No funciono con Visual Studio Code, aun instalando todo lo necesario.- Solo funcionaron el blink y el hola mundo.- Seguire aprendiendo de esta placa y buscare mas informacion al respecto y experiencias de otros en foros, me la quedo para aprender mas.- No soy un experto, esto solo es un pasatiempo para mi.- Espero poder descubrir mas acerca del funcionamiento de la placa.- Antes he comprado el FREENOVE Kit básico de inicio para ESP32-S3-WROOM con camara integrada y fue muy sensillo de usar.En el pasado he usadoESP-WROOM-32 ESP32 ESP-32S y es muy facil de utilizar.Todas estas tambien son facil de usar para aprender:ESP8266 Nodemcu 12eEsp8266 ch340 v3Rasberry Phi 4Arduino UNOArduino NANOArduino MegaMakeblock mBot Explorer RobotSTM32 Nucleo Development Board con STM32F446RETal vez estoy olvidando alguna placa pero puedo decir que todas estas fueron facil de usar.LLego bien empacado y sin daños, de eso no me puedo quejar.

Like others, I received an older board, back to 2021 (it's now 2023). It may have the larger memory, but Arduino won't recognize anything that big. And I'm currently trying to find out why it stopped working with programs that run on a different brand of development board, but has the same chip.

In order to flash this board I had to connect it to the UART side, not the USB side. Wasted a lot of hours trying to troubleshoot this.
