Harmony Wood Stright Needle Set
I'm new to knitting. This set really was a big help for me. All the other needles I tried were metal and just didn't work for me. In fact I came close to giving up this art all together. After trying the Harmony Wood Straight Needles I was on my way to a great learning experience. In fact I ordered the set my first week in class and was told that wasn't what I needed so I sent them back, man! what a mistake! I am so very glad I reordered them. For a beginner these work great for me. They are smooth without me constantly loosing all my yarn off the needle. Also I haven't had to pick my needle up off the floor 10 times in thirty minutes from dropping them. These fit my hand and seem to balance much better. I love mine and am enjoying this new learning experience sharing my needles with others in the class.

My favorites!
Just looking at threm makes me happy but knitting with them has me ecstatic. Smooth, so smooth andthe points are perfect for getting those knit two together stitches the first time. I have bought and given many of these as gifts so my joy keeps on giving.

Yummy knitting needles
These are yummy. Nice and slick, but not overly so. I prefer these to aluminum (and prefer aluminum over plastic/acrylic). Gorgeous to look at, too.

Rough spots and snags in the finish.
The needles are beautiful but several of them had snags and rough spots inn the finish. I was able to sand them off, but very disappointing in such expensive needles.
