Very affordable blocker to experiment with. Seems to work well.

The Good: This is a straightforward tool to make soil blocks for seed starting. It is pretty easy to understand and it made good size blocks to start my garden seeds.The less good: For whatever reason I usually only got 3 blocks no matter what I did. It could have been user error. It did not come with instructions for the soil mix so I did some internet searching and this was my first time doing this. It's not incredibly ergonomic but if you're only doing a small number of blocks, (I did 40) it's perfectly fine.Conclusion: if you're wanting to try soil blocking, then this is a decent tool to start with

I would definitely recommend viewing videos on making soil blocks (there are many good ones out there for free) and make sure you're using a good soil block mix. Most likely the first few blocks will be a disaster, but try a few times and you'll get it, and love it. I've got many a seedling going now in my soil blocks - I'll never go back to those tiny plastic pots.

Functioned well, did what I needed it to do. Would prefer a different handle design since after doing several trays my hand was sore from compressing the handle. I can see why the blocking tool that makes a row of blocks is beneficial but this one worked very well. Still waiting for my seeds to germinate, can't wait!

Neat machine but was harder to use than it looks. Went with a different method for the next year.

It's a helpful tool It's to pricey for what it is. But it does work great.

This product is poorly made. The spring is too short to keep the handle up and the edges of the product are so sharp that they pose a real hazard when handled. Don't buy this one.

This product works but is difficult to use and painful on the hands. I would suggest adding extended handles on the side for when pressing into the dirt. You have to use a lot of pressure when doing so and it’s painful on the hands.
