Does the job, though consider where you'll keep the drill
There's no doubt a little bit of fluff comes off when using it, but it's only really an issue if you use the coloured buff that clashes with your shoe. Otherwise, it is handy, though think about whether you are happy to keep a small drill near your shoes. There's no way I'm heading off to the tools every time I need a quick shine, and I don't have kids (yet) so I don't mind keeping a small electric drill near the shoes.

Good idea
It is nice to see a start up succeed and I enjoy the product. Using this approach is far faster and better than hand polishing. But, and this is not their fault, using a drill itself to shine is not easy because when force is applied the torque pulls it off the shoe. That seems to happen the most when using the narrow end. Once I was used to that, operation smoothed out.The only reason this review is not 5 stars is that the first time a pad is used little pieces fly off. That's minor, just FYI.

I like it, but it does have some flaws.
I like the unit, and use it primarily for show shining. It's pretty hard to keep control of the unit while shining your shoes, since it has a tendency to spin away on the surface of the shoe. It also sprays a bit of water around if you're trying to use water atop the shoe surface for a second coat of polish. I think a smaller handheld shoe buffer would work better in terms of controlling the unit. I also am unable to get the same level of shine as with this product as you can with a simple microfiber cloth and some elbow grease. I find my self polishing with this device first, and finishing off by hand.

this is the perfect gift because it creates and easy way to shine ...
I bought this Buffer Bit a while ago and I just realized that I never left a review. To me, this is the perfect gift because it creates and easy way to shine your shoes with a good excuse to break out the toolbox and run your drill. Its great if you are in a hurry and you want a quick buff on your shoes, you don't need to break out the polish, and it really good if you want to get a real high gloss shine using polish and a match to put on a nice thick layer of polish on the leather. I asked my wife is she wanted me to shine her boots with this, and her answer was "No, it makes them too shiny..." So, there you go.

Looking good so far!
Going out on a limb here because I just received and haven't even used it. But, I've been around tools all my life and I know what works and what doesn't work. I plan to hook these babies up to my cordless drill and give them a shot. The black one of course will be for the black shoes. The Red one will be for the Oxblood shoes and the white one will be for anything I want to polish with clear finish or wax. I bought these because the buffing cloth simply doesn't work hard enough. I wanted something I could put some power behind and I know these are going to do the trick. I'll update this review once I have a chance to test them out.

Great for shoes
I got these for my shoes because hand buffing can be difficult. Not that it's hard but I like to do all my shoes at once. Using the different colored bits works well when you're using brown and black wax. That way you're not making your brown shoes darker with the black wax. Pop this on your drill and you can polish your shoes to a shine way quicker.

Useless after brief use !!!!
After reading some reviews of those who used it to polish wheels. etc, thought I would give it a try. It's probably better for shining shoes..... If planning to use to polish wheels, etc, better off trying something else.I used it to buff the chrome rims on my cycle, not using much pressure .....After a few minutes, the elastic that not only holds the pad on but is also what makes the pad spin, broke on two of the buffer covers. Now the plastic cone on which the pad covers, just spins on the inside, not turning the pad. Will try to see if using some type of Velcro on the inside might be a better idea? Hopefully be able to still make it work???

Too lumpy!
Strap broke on one of the pads. Too much lint in general. Too lumpy..not a very high polish shine in general. Potential for a better product is there. Idea is fine. I have an electric buffer with a circular head made by Norelco which was given to me by my parents 23 years ago which gives a much higher gloss shine !
