Like most woodworkers I haven’t seen a tool I don’t want. This little digital read out tape measure is really nice. I’m shocked how accurate it is considering some say it’s not. I’m giving it 5 stars because it works as advertised. The midpoint button (1/2) is a little tricky because it doesn’t work per the instructions but it works. You have to double tap the power button twice then hit the 1/2 and it divides the total measurement. I bought another for a family member so yea I recommend.

First off, I’m keeping this but there are some issues. The display only measures in increments of 1/16 inch. That is good enough for most general household use and ruff carpentry. What it really means if you were measuring 10 ½ you the digital could show that from just over 10 3/16 to just under 10 5/16. That is closer to an accuracy slightly better than 1/8 inch.If you intend to use it DIY cabinets or any time you need to know the exact measurement to the 1/32 of an inch, it will not provide that accuracy. The manual tape graduations are to the 1/32. I will use the readout to make sure I’m reading in the ballpark.Of course, if you are doing really fine measurement, you will be using a millimeter tape most likely and this does a good job of doing that. I just have not converted to mm for my DIY projects.I was hoping for better but did not realize that the digital marks were on the back of the tape and they are only in 1/16 increments so the digital measurements will never be better than that.

Nice tape measure with various functions. Works well, includes a belt clip. Can set measurement in feet, ft/in, inches, meters, cm and mm. Really nice for the price.

Works as described, accurate and pretty easy to use.

Awesome....(once you finally figure it out by yourself and with poor youtube vids). No manual comes with it. There are two things I don't like however. It's accurate to 1/16" which is probably fine for most stuff, but if you are moving between 16th's it won't change to the next 16th until you move all the way to it. Ie; it reads 3 1/16" even when you are just a tad past that distance...and it won't change to 3 1/8" ( 3 2/16" of course) until you get all the way to 3 1/8". What it should do is to read 3 3/32" of an inch when you are in between those numbers. But ok, that's for finish carpentry work. The other really cool thing (that is almost impossible to figure out by yourself) is that it also displays "inside dimensions"....so it knows to automatically add 3 1/4" (the length of this device) to the measurement when you are measuring the distance between two walls for example. But how I finally got it to do that is a mystery to me still... I keep pushing buttons and trying to find the combo that gets me there. But once there I can easily switch between inside dim's and outside dims, if that makes sense. It also stores your dim's so you can measure a bunch of boards, then go cut them w/out writing it all down.

There are a few things you have to figure out for yourself. For example, how do you clear the memory? So far, nobody knows and it’s not in any videos!

I definitely love this tape measure it is what I have been looking for for a very long time and I didn't even know that it existed. I am so happy that I got it and I will be recommending it to my friends
