Straight out of the box, you could tell how the pieces fitted, but the clear instructions boosted confidence in your DIY skills. It was a breeze to set up. And playing around with the levers helped me adjust the chair to my exact need.The back rest tilts back and forth, adjustable for optimal back support. The seat itself does NOT tilt forward; instead it tilts backwards to accommodate your best sitting position. Obviously, the height lever allows you to lower or raise the chair. But, one thing I do caution to note is that this chair is probably not ideal for users under 5'3" as its lowest height is still quite high. For taller users, at least up to 5'10", this chair is probably a good investment.For the ladies, the seat is not too wide and is quite comfortable. It didn't take me long to get used to it and the way it's designed seems to deliberately remind you to get up and take a break -- which is a very useful reminder for me. For the gents, the rising front of the saddle may be uncomfortable initially but is still a good investment (according to my partner).Overall, this is a sturdy, comfortable product, and I'm glad I purchased it.

This stool is working wonders for my back and hips. It is very comfortable, I have to remind myself to stand during the day. It was very easy to assemble, took less than 5 mins. Does not take up much space, nice and compact.

Unfortunately the saddle hump that you sit on creates pain in your tail-bone which lasted for weeks in my case.

I use this chair at work...I am a dental hygienist and ergonomics is most important for me to practice if i want to get to retirement age without injury. this chair has improved my posture so much.pros- improved posture, comfortable but takes a bit to get used to if you never used a saddle chairCons- I changed out the wheels, the ones it came with are cheap and do not roll well

I immediately liked the chair, but then after a few hours of using it, I found that I mostly just wanted to like it, but it wasn't quite right. I think I do like it, however, because it forces me to get up every once in awhile. I also like that it is so adjustable. It's a good chair to take a break from standing or sitting on other chairs (if that makes any sense) because you can undo tiresome positions by stretching in different directions, e.g. leaning way back on it - although it feels like it will tip over, it won't. I think it would make a great task chair if you need to use your arms to work on something and need mobility to move around an object. I'll probably bring it to the lab and use it there.

First off this was probably the easiest to assemble item I’ve ever purchased. No tools required. The chair is solid, sturdy, and well-made. It is comfortable and fits like a glove. I believe long term use of this chair at work will help my tight glutes/hip flexors.Allegedly, use of this type of chair engages muscles weakened by regular chairs, so a few months of sitting in it should help strengthen those muscles. Admittedly by the end of the day I’m shifting around and wanting a regular chair. Tired muscles?Another benefit is it prevents you from crossing your legs or sitting on one leg which I’ve been told by chiropractors is not good for your back.My only complaint is, at its lowest setting I still sit pretty tall at a standard 28.5 inch tall desk. I wish it would lower a few more inches.Otherwise 5 stars!

I rarely write reviews but I have to write one for this. If you are looking for a saddle chair within this price range give this one a try. It’s sturdy and quality. I bought the Kaleurrier Saddle Stool and returned it. It is hard like a rock. I can’t believe it got 5 star reviews and this one only got 4.
